We’ve been to the Bar Cino in Newport many times, it is consistently fantastic. This was our first time in the watertown location, the service was fine. We ordered the bolognese arancini and it came frozen in the middle. My fiancée ordered the Cacio e Pepe, it essentially was just buttered noodles with no flavor. I ordered the Gnocchi mushroom ragu, the pasta tasted like it just came from the supermarket and the mushrooms and peas were also a bit frozen. This was a disappointing visit from a restaurant we usually rave about. I hope it was just because it was Valentine’s Day and it was busy, if this location stays like this there is absolutely no way we’re going back.

Our party was seated promptly slightly before our reservation time. We were very well attended by our server throughout our meal and had wonderful food as usual!

We had a wonderful meal with friends. Great drinks and good food. Excellent server. Fabulous dessert. A little loud and a little cold in the restaurant.

I loved all of the food that I ordered (the meatballs & chicken Milanese), as well as my drink (the Dirty Pear). But we weren’t a big fan of the pizza that my date ordered (Roasted Chicken pizza) — we didn’t see any pesto on it, as described on the menu. Our waitress was lovely, seating was comfortable, and it wasn’t too loud. Plus, easy parking in the lot behind the restaurant.

Had dinner at the bar and bartender was attentive and friendly. Meatballs were solid. Chicken and bolognese were likewise tasty. Short rib was way over-salted. Cocktails were great.

Very sophisticated menu. Busy, noisy restaurant. Impressive wine and cocktail selection. Plenty of parking.

We went on a Tuesday night, which was great, because they have the prix fixe menu, and weekends are very noisy there. The food is very tasty, from appetizers to desserts.
