The team at bar kroketa have singled out the croqueta – one of the most popular Spanish tapas - and made it our signature dish. A bar where everyone is welcome, whether you’re in a comfortable hurry or ready to set your bags down with time to indulge.
The blackboards will be filled with a frequently changing selection of kroketas alongside countertop bar snacks and small dishes from the open kitchen. The menu will champion off cuts and offal when it comes to meat, and seasonality is at the core. Drinks will feature traditional aperitifs, affordable Spanish wines and playful cocktails alongside the krok cellar for some more unusual, wow factor wines.

Too expensive. Waiters were rushing us all the time, we knew we had 1.3 hours, but being reminded about it several times is not pleasant.

The restaurant was nice but very narrow, and very loud and the door was open so it was fairly chilly inside. I am Spanish and although the croquetas were delicious, overall the menu on offer and the prices are quite expensive, I think it will be a place to go and have a drink and maybe a croqueta or a Spanish omelette, but if you are going out to eat for a proper dinner or lunch it can be very expensive (we paid around 50£/head)

Options were limited. Lots of items not available on the menu and the tortilla del dia wasn't fresh so was disappointing

We were seated at the entrance on a side bar even though we booked a table. Both doors plus the air con were running and we were freezing. We asked the waiter to close the door which he did for 5 mins. The staff was friendly but they didn’t pay attention at all. There was enough staff for the amount of people so none of them were too busy. One of them preferred to rather chat and flirt with two girls he seemed to know. However the the Kroketas were yummy. The rest of the food was okay. Overall the bar Kroketa is nice but don’t expect too much. The coldness was destroying the atmosphere and our mood for more and to stay longer.

We enjoyed the food very much, but the staff are so overworked and stressed. My friend was waiting for the toilet, said ‘excuse me to the waitress’ who walked by. The waitress accused her of shouting. Attitude for absolutely nothing. I was 3m away from them; there was no shouting to be heard. I asked me friend what happened because the waitress seemed snappy to say the least. Another member of staff came over to apologise for what happened. He was a very lovely man who to the time to speak to us. He was very attentives I cannot fault him for his service. Frankly, I won’t be dining here again when staff are so stressed and take this out on customers.

Great small plates with a big selection of croquettas. The atmosphere is cosy and laid back. Very good spot for a casual lunch or dinner.
