Even with the reservation, it took 25 minutes to even be addressed/ seated at our table. The restaurant was not visibly busy. Plenty of open tables. The hostess ending up leaving the stand near the door and we did not see anyone greet other patrons our entire visit. People were walking away left and right. When we finally were seated, our waitress had no idea what the Valentine’s Day special was- neither did the only bartender. The restaurant ran as if they fired their entire staff and hired a new group without any experience the same day. Zero leadership in that entire store. There was zero communication between staff and patrons, there was even less communication between the staff themselves. If our waitress had even told us there was a staffing issue, or asked in advance for patience, it would have completely changed the experience. Over all, we sat at our table for 45 minutes, took quite a while to receive a drink, and we were well past finishing those. We hadn’t seen our waitress since the drinks were delivered. We ended up leaving cash on the table for the drinks and left. As parents, Valentine’s Day, on a Friday- is a rare date night we get, and we wasted so much time waiting around for a poor experience. Bar Louie was one of our favorite restaurants. We hadn’t been in a while, as the location near us closed. We were very excited to come back and left highly disappointed. Makes me upset for the brand.
