Nestled in an intimate space in the East Village, Bar Miller is the showcase omakase restaurant from the sushi concept Rosella. Just a few blocks away, our 8-seat sushi bar is seated twice nightly for a tasting menu that features local, sustainably-sourced ingredients.

Domestic beer, wine, and cider shape a drink program that stays true to our approach to the menu, while the sake list highlights Brooklyn-based breweries and less conventional styles from Japan.

Our tasting menu at the bar features 15 courses and dessert. An optional supplemental food menu will be available at the end of each seating. Wine, Sake, Beer, and Cider available a la carte. An optional wine pairing is available for an additional $100. Seating times are available for 6:00PM and 8:30PM.

Excellent NY Omakase comparable to almost every Michelin star omakase I’ve had in Los Angeles. Chefs and servers are extremely knowledgeable about the fish and drink pairing, and are super fun to be around. Would absolutely revisit when back in New York.

We had an incredible evening last Friday at Bar Miller. Having visited Rosella while in NYC this spring, we planned to return on our trip with friends but Rosella is a tough reservation for four as they only have a table or two inside. We instead decided to visit Bar Miller and were so glad we did. Ambience is on point with the modern space, seating for 8 (all sushi bar), and good tunes. Our host, Cooper, who splits time between Bar Miller and Rosella, was engaging and helpful. The rapport between the chef, sous, and host was apparent and made for a fun dynamic between our group and the only other two guests. Food was the quality you’d expect if you’ve been to Rosella in the past. Our menu was 14 courses which ended right before I would’ve begun asking myself if I really needed anything else. We were the last seating of the evening with our experience comfortably ending at about 2.5 hours. An earlier seating would like be a bit more limited to 2-2.25. We did not do the beverage pairing but asked for bottles of white they thought would work well. Cooper was very knowledgable on their wine program and even remembered the bottle he had served us in the spring at Rosella. We loved the bottle choices. We can’t wait to return to either Bar Miller or Rosella on our next visit to NYC.

From the time we entered the lovely and intimate space we were treated as special guests. The food was fresh, locally or well-sourced, and absolutely delicious. The chefs and host were well informed yet warm. This was a very special meal.

Amazing experience! TJ and the team are truly exceptional. Definitely do the sake/wine pairing. Great value and a wonderful complement to the food.

We had an amazing experience at Bar Miller! Loved the modern omakase experience with everything sustainably sourced locally and nothing going to waste. The pickled strawberries instead of pickled ginger and a little kick from peppers instead of wasabi was fun and unique. They used leftover fish scraps to make a chip to tartare with and they used their leftover shellfish to make a kickass XO sauce. Highly recommend and can’t wait to go again. The staff was amazing and we had great conversation with Chef James.

The team from Rosellas has knocked it out of the park. Best omakaze spot in the city and the wine pairings are so f-ing cool and tasty
