At Baro, we strive to bring you the unique flavours of South America that are inspired by the Latin kitchens of coastal countries from Colombia to Argentina. Our team brings you plates that are inspired from traditional dishes that have a unique spin on them, creating something entirely on it’s own.

Please note, our rooftop patio operates on a first come, first serve basis and does not accept reservations. We will be accepting walk-ins!

    Food was very tasty, but over priced. A simple margarita was $22 etc. Although server did his best, all the food came at different times - although he warned us before that this would happen. Drinks were also very slow in coming. Although excellent tasting dishes, a little too pricey for the overall experience.

    Amazing experience. From the moment we walked in, everyone was so welcoming. The coat check was a lovely unexpected touch! We were there celebrating a friends birthday and they were so sweet about it. Our waitress Amaliya was wonderful. She was so personable, and thoughtful. The music was great, the Latin dancer and musician was fun. Will definitely be back. I have no complaints.

    We arrived at Pearson Airport at 10:00 PM and had a 10:30 reservation for dinner. We felt extremely lucky to be able to find a restaurant willing to take a 10:30 reservation. We ordered our food and drinks quickly and our orders came quickly as well. We ate but did not feel rushed. I had the grilled octopus and truffle cassava frita. The octopus was pretty pricy at $33 but was very tasty and the sauce was phenomenal. The fried cassava was pretty dense and cut pretty thick. I would have preferred if the pieces were a bit smaller. They were a bit on the bland side but dipped in the sauce, they were quite tasty.

    Food is very salty and quite expensive for the portions. Ambiance is nice but not worth the price point.

    Never disappoints! We have come to BARO a number of times for team lunches and dinners. If you are a smallish group (we were 5) order the “Eat Like Paul” you get all the great dishes in one. Always order extra Big Mac Empanadas and the Martinis

    Went here with a coworker for dinner when visiting from out of town and was truly blown away. Food was amazing, service was top tier and the ambiance had you feeling like you were perhaps in Miami or somewhere that wasn’t Toronto (in a great way)!

    Came here for brunch for my moms birthday, everyone was very hospitable they even made her a little card and the food was amazing!
