At Baro, we strive to bring you the unique flavours of South America that are inspired by the Latin kitchens of coastal countries from Colombia to Argentina. Our team brings you plates that are inspired from traditional dishes that have a unique spin on them, creating something entirely on it’s own.

Please note, our rooftop patio operates on a first come, first serve basis and does not accept reservations. We will be accepting walk-ins!

    It was my birthday and Baro gave me a cake at the end, which was delicious. We ordered ceviche tuna, duck confit fried rice, and oysters. All were delicious. Definitely would come back. The server erroneously gave the wrong bill to us but was quickly fixed. We will come back again for the delicious food and good service.

    The service was excellent. Our waiter (I think his name is Sam) was really great. The food is excellent too. The size of the starters is small but the size of the large plates is really large. It wasn’t our first time and we will go back!

    Had a wonderful time at happy hour. Every time I go to Baro I think “I should come here more”. Lots of mocktail selections if you’re doing dry Jan.

    The food at this restaurant was absolutely incredible—every dish we tried was a delight, and the quality was outstanding. However, our experience was somewhat dampened by the behavior of the hostess at the door. I understand it was a slow Monday night, but her lack of enthusiasm and almost rude demeanor made us feel unwelcome. First impressions matter, and her attitude gave a terrible one, which was disappointing considering how fantastic everything else was. If the front-of-house service matched the quality of the food, this place would be perfect.

    We were charged gst/hst on our bill when all we ordered was food, wines which are a part of the hst/gst break and were told by the server that alcohol is not a included in break, after telling her that's not the case and she can look in up she gave us attitude and came with another bill over charging us for the 2nd bottle of sparkling wine which was on special for new years eve and then we were told again that the charge included tax. The 3rd time after getting the bill right they were rude no apologies just ruined our night over unprofessional behavior and no remorse. Horrible customer service

    An incredible dinner! Celebrated new years eve and my birthday dinner at Baro for the first time, and felt special from the moment we walked in. Our server was excellent, I wish I remembered his name, but he took the time to review the entire menu with us, made recommendations, and provided exceptional service especially on such a busy evening. Food was delicious! We enjoyed lots of seafood, fresh and vibrant flavours, and delicious cocktails, I highly recommend.

    We are from Europe, booked a table for two on NYE 2024 as we had had dinner at Baro the week before and really enjoyed it. The atmosphere was buzzing, happy, festive and energetic. The music was just a bit too loud but the latin tunes do add to the overall experience. The food was delicious and very nicely presented, the staff are all helpful and super friendly. The first time we ate here I found the food a little too spicy, this time it was not - so if you have a sensitive stomach maybe ask a waiter for advice. All in all a really great and warm experience during a few days in cold weather Toronto.

    We came for brunch and the entire experience was incredible. The food was unreal, atmosphere was super fun, and the service was outstanding. Highly recommend!
