Barrio Queen is the best restaurant in Tempe for authentic Mexican food and craft cocktails. Our food pays homage to history and culture by serving fresh, authentic Mexican cuisine using traditional recipes from barrios throughout Mexico.     Always great food! It’s hit or miss on the wait staff. Sometimes they just seem unhappy.

    Love Barrio Queen. Met out of town friends here for dinner and ate on the patio. They turned the heaters on for us and it was comfortable. Delicious food, house margaritas, our server was helpful and let us take our time, we never felt rushed.

    Great chips and salsa! Our waitress was very attentive! I had the chicken burrito and it was very flavorful! Had a house margarita, it came in a small glass full of ice, with a few sips it was done. The Margarita was $12.50 definitely not worth the price for all the more you got.
