   This was a wonderful dining experience. Every dish was perfectly paired with a great wine. Service was impeccable and each course was delicious.

   Obviously we don’t have a ton of fine dining options on the eastern shore, so I appreciate the effort. There were some good food moments but the service was far too rushed and for the price, we actually could have paid for a hotel room in New York and had a more interesting dinner

   The top table on the Eastern Shore. On a miserable rainy afternoon, we enjoyed the usual warm welcome. Lovely craft cocktails (Rye Manhattans), starters were great, mains were wonderful . . . all enjoyed with a fantastic Bordeaux. Service superlative, as always! Thank you.

   Dining at this small restaurant in an utterly charming area of Easton is an experience that we thoroughly enjoyed. Starting with the service, the staff could not do enough for you. Our server, Shauna, is delightful, but my personal favorite was assistant server, Cheyenne. He spoiled us with bread service and a conspiratorial grin. The interior is beautifully decorated and upkept. Never have I encountered tissues arranged in a rosette pattern (in the restrooms). We were fortunate enough to visit with the tulips were in outrageous bloom along the street, over a thousand of them. The food lives up to the reputation. We had appetizers of pork belly and octopus. Hands down the best octopus we've had stateside. Only in Europe have we had better. For our mains we had salmon and lamb chops. The morel sauce with the lamb is exquisite. Dessert was a myriad of items, but the star of the show is the trompe l'oeil pear. Looks like a real pear, but is a delightful confection of mousse and a pear chutney. Take photos and enjoy the experience. BluePoint Hospitality, (the restaurant group that runs this location) owns quite a few other locations in a several block area. They have a coffee shop, a juice bar, an upscale bottle sales location with amazing charcuterie, a Scotch bar, an ice cream shop, a bookstore and more! We went to several of their businesses and found them to be outstanding across the board. We look forward to our next celebration here with great anticipation.

   Bas Rouges is our go to restaurant for fine dining - especially when we miss our time in Vienna, Austria and Paris . The quality of the cuisine and service cannot be better anywhere in the USA .

   Extraordinary dining experience! We celebrated our anniversary in lavish style, from our greeting at the door through each delectable course. Our surprise send off was a sculptured pear dessert that truly enhanced this memorable evening. Special thank you to Chef Lance and Shawna for the wonderful extras...and thank you to all the chefs and servers that continue to make Bas Rouge a treasured culinary destination!
