Bas Rouge is a modern European restaurant offering an impeccable integration of fine dining, a world class wine list, and elegant service. The high style and gorgeous interior offer inspiration in one of the Eastern Seaboard's cultural and historic gems, Easton, Talbot County, Maryland. The dining experience is refined, and the dishes are characterized by their polished adaptation of traditional Viennese and European classics, with ingredients from the finest local purveyors and farms.

                                        We choose Bas Rouge for every special occasion because the food and its presentation are always perfect, the staff is attentive and knowledgeable and it’s a visually stunning place. I recommend it in the highest possible terms.

                                        A Hallmark evening. My wife and I have been going to Bas Rouge for a number of years to celebrate anniversaries and such and have always found it unique and special. I have long felt and proclaimed it is the best restaurant on the Eastern Shore. Frankly, I would add probably Annapolis. Last night, mid winter/midweek was especially outstanding because when we arrived a little early for our reservation it seemed no one was there. Lights on but no visible guests. When I said we're a little early but maybe it won't matter we were told we were the only guests all evening. And thus it was. the usual attention to detail and unique and hot food was ours alone. We were glad they even bothered but but hi standards being what they are we got it all to ourselves. We've sought out better places to eat all over the World. Hard to beat Bas Rouge. Summer months it will take weeks to get a reservation. Special thanks to Eric.

                                        Always an exquisite dining experience! The Vienna Room is beautiful. The service is top notch. We are fortunate to have this degree of talent and class here on the Eastern Shore.

                                        It is always a lovely miniature vacation visiting Bas Rouge, we absolutely love it here. I think we could live on this particular beautiful block! Every detail is perfect, the staff is extremely professional and also very welcoming and friendly, which we really enjoy. It seems that each of the establishments in this group find the perfect meeting place between the two… never stuffy and too formal but you’re made to feel very special here And that is all before the food! The bread… the amazing wine list, the beauty of each exquisite plate - the plates themselves actually, lol! But the artistry and presentation of each dish is truly world class. We have returned several times, even often driving from Baltimore without plans to spend the night in town - it’s just one of the loveliest places to come for a beautiful meal and experience we can think of!
