Bas Rouge is a modern European restaurant offering an impeccable integration of fine dining, a world class wine list, and elegant service. The high style and gorgeous interior offer inspiration in one of the Eastern Seaboard's cultural and historic gems, Easton, Talbot County, Maryland.                                         Truly one of Americas great restaurants! Food - outstanding - creative, flavorful, excellently prepaird. The “pear surprises” desert was incredible, I’d rank it as one of the most innovative desserts I’ve ever had. A must try dish! Yes, it is pricey, but they deliver! We travel the world and always enjoy excellent cuisine where ever we go, so we know a”gem” when we find one - and this is a gem!

                                        We had the chef’s seven course tasting menu with the wine pairing. The dishes were amazing and the staff was as well. Will definitely be coming back to Bas Rouge.

                                        Did not disappoint; we had tried to get in a few other times but were delighted when the timing aligned. Every detail from the tile/decor down to the tableware was exceptional. The amuseboosh was a perfect start. I had the best tuna tartare Ive ever eaten. It was packed with flavor, great use of mild heat and served over crispy rice. My next course was equally enjoyable - beef cheeks over a bed of Spätzle. The main dish, venison was perfectly cooked and prepared with crispy kale, mashed potato and flavor packed brown sauce. Me and my husband dove into a glutinous sampling of four desserts. Each unique very tasty and delightfully presented. The champagne was incredible. The service, the best in the business.

                                        Bas Rouge is a Michelin class restaurant. Better than Le Bernadin in NY, you have it here locally, all the dishes we ordered were extraordinaire top class, amazing taste and first class presentation. An amazing experience recommended for any connoisseur to try and enjoy this exceptional restaurant and team.

                                        Loved the experience and sharing a family Meal to celebrate my husbands birthday! It was divine, however, very very pricey. If you go with a budget in mind, double it. It’s been one of the most expensive meals I’ve had in 5 years. I travel the world.
