    Jose Andres takes dining to another level. The food at Bazaar Mar was exceptional as was the service. Every dish was delicious but the California funnel cakes, Singapore shrimp and marinated liquid olives were our favorites. Our server John and manager Renan made our experience extra special. Would highly recommend - a must for any food lover in Vegas!

    The food was good, but the hot food items did not come out hot. They came out room temperature. It was reheated when we asked them to do it and service cover recovery was great. The waiter definitely did all that he could to recover from the issue. The croquettes were undercoat as we could still taste the flour and those were remade.

    We arrived about 10 minutes early for our reservation but were seated promptly. Mr. Edward, our waiter, was very efficient and helpful with the menu as this was our first time dining there. The bar service was outstanding, our meals were courses were excellent, and the desserts were delicious. We look forward to our next visit and will request Mr. Edward again, if available.

    I'd done extensive research before making this reservation, and cannot understand why this restaurant has landed on any "must try" lists - one of the worst dining experiences in recent memory. We ordered a number of dishes, including Kueh Pai Ti, Hokkaido Sea Scallops Crudo, Josper Roasted Carrots, Monkfish SAMM, and Rossejat (traditional “paella” of toasted pasta, spider crab “gratin”), and each one ranged from uninspired (at best) to just flat out inedible. The Josper Roasted Carrots looked like the scraps and discards you would find after peeling a carrot, the Monkfish SAMM basically amounted to three Monkfish fried "Chicken McNuggets" on top of the smallest, saddest piece of lettuce you can image with a foam that looked like spit and tasted like nothing, and the Rossejat was a bowl of mayo-drenched crab served with a separate cast iron pan of a Rice-a-Roni knock off (which is really saying something in itself), seasoned with a brick of salt. The service was scattered and distracted, the restaurant location is in The Shops at Crystals next to the Aria, but even with the surrounding high-end shops, it still feels like you are sitting in a slightly elevated mall food court. An expensive lesson was learned...

    I hate it when I call a restaurant to inform them I have an onion allergy and ask if it is possible to have a wide selection of foods with such an allergy. This was the case with Bazaar Mar. When I called, I was told, "the chef can take out any onions." This was not the case when I ordered. But first, 7pm reservation. Arrived 8 minutes prior. Was seated at 7:14pm. Took 22 minutes to get water. Took 37 minutes to order. That was ridiculous. The waiter was very good. That was the highlight of the visit. When I informed him of my onion allergy, he went to talk to the chef and came back with a list of about 12 things I could order. Only one thing of what I hoped to order -- four courses -- was on this list. So much for "the chef can take out any onions." The two appetizers we ordered were not very good. Waste of money for what they charge. The salmon carpacio was descibed as my wife as "the worst carpaccio I've ever had". The other was blue fin tuna with quail egg. As an avid sushi eater, this was the worst blue fin tuna I've ever had. It tasted like thinly cut spam. Seriously. It was that bad. I ordered a salmon dish which as OK, except the top was burnt and the middle of the fish was cold. For the main course, I ordered the salt baked fish, but couldn't order the sauce because it had onions. It was a whole fish and, well, tasted salty. Other than that, it had no flavor. I also ordered the carrots, but they arrived after I finished the fish. Bad timing on the part of the kitchen. My wife ordered the half lobster dish which was certainly not half a lobster. Maybe half a lobster tail. We didn't see any claw flesh in the dish. Disappointing. She also ordered a mushroom dish which was delicious. We spent around $350 for this birthday celebration and I can sum up the experience in 5 words: "We won't be coming back."

    I was disappointed by the food - had higher expectations based on my experience at Bazaar many years ago when they had a location in LA. I love seafood but thought the seafood here was a bit fishy. I did like the cocktails here though
