   The hostess and wait staff here are excellent, very attentive and friendly. We were happy to see a tasting menu which we had not experienced before. Two of our party of four ordered the black cod and they kindly adjusted the sauce to accommodate dairy free and rice instead of the pasta as a GF option. Unfortunately the cod was so fishy tasting, neither of us could eat it. Also the broccolini on the plate was cold right off the bat. They offered us another choice but thats difficult once the rest of the group is halfway through their meal. Both had the steak frites, which was excellent. We ended up eating most of their frites. Our meals where taken off the bill, which is fair, but when you plan a dinner out, you want a nicely cooked dinner.

   Amelia was very attentive . Lovely evening .Good food. Branzino was very good though a bit dry . Salmon very good . Great beet salad.

   Nice ambiance, though sitting close to the bar makes you feel a little separated from the rest of the restaurant, and the bar is where the staff convene so we heard a lot of their personal conversations//jokes, was a bit distracting but we didn’t mind much. Amazing food and very nice drink selection. Will be returning at a later date. 8/10 would recommend to f&f.

   For the price the food was meh-alright, but the ambiance was great! Oysters were not shucked well. Octopus was flavourful but over cooked for our liking.

   Another great meal at Beacon. Best spot in Oakville for great food, wonderful service and fun. The bar area is the hottest spot in Oakville for late night. People watching is the best!
