   We're beyond excited for our upcoming wedding rehearsal dinner in July at The Beeside! We recently had the chance to visit the venue and enjoy a tasting of the dishes we’ll be serving, and let me tell you – it exceeded all expectations. The venue itself is absolutely adorable, and it’s perfect for our event. The staff was incredibly attentive, and we were so impressed by the personalized service we received from Christophe and Guen – they truly made us feel like family. As for the food, WOW. We sampled a wide variety of menu items, and everything was unique, flavorful, and downright delicious. It’s clear that every dish is made with care and attention to detail. The Bride and Groom are beyond excited to celebrate their pre-wedding night with their family and wedding party at such a special place. If you haven’t yet tried The Beeside, do yourself a favor and add it to your list of must-visit restaurants in San Diego. We couldn’t have picked a better spot to kick off this incredible celebration!

   Always a great meal at BeeSide. Amazing staff, great food and great owner. Always went to the Del Mar location and this was my first time at the La Jolla location. Very cozy and warm on a rainy evening.

   Excellent food & service! We enjoyed the charcuterie board, cioppino, mussels in white wine sauce, and pork osso buco. It was a bit cold for patio dining, slightly noisy in the full restaurant. We would be happy to return.

   This was our second time at Beeside. First time was nice and so we returned. This time, we were seated 15 minutes after our reservation because they gave our table to another party earlier. We sat down and didn’t receive our drinks for over 30 minutes from ordering them and our food came out after tables that arrived 20-30 minutes after our table. Food was good.

   We really wanted to enjoy this experience. It was my second time to eat at Beeside; the first time was for breakfast. We started with the escargot, which was outstanding! My husband ordered a ceasar which came and almost seemed like he was getting punked. The entire bowl of romaine was the white or very pale green ends. It's like they had no good Romaine and tried to make due. It literally was the stuff I throw away at home. My husband ordered the salmon for this main course which was decent but nothing spectacular. I ordered the crab cake appetizer with a side of feta fries to share. The crab cake was large and delicious, but parts of it were cold as if it hadn't stayed in the fryer long enough. The feta fries were literally fries with feta sprinkled on top. If I were going to the trouble of posting "Feta Fries" as an option on a menu, I would try to make it somewhat spectacular (maybe sprinkled with oregano, olive oil, a squeeze of lemon, and (at the very least) MELTED feta or served with a feta whip). My daughter had the Jidori chicken, which was very bland. The potatoes were covered in the demi-glace which we all felt was a detractor. We shared the churro dessert, which was delicious.

   The food menu is creative and delicious. I enjoyed the view and was able to book a post dinner resevation at The Hive for post dinner drinks. I highly recommend for a date night,

    Nice location, great ambiance, food was good overall but all made with a lot of butter and garlic (what’s not to love except my arteries!) ; baklava ice cream cake was the highlight for us
