Welcome Home!

At Bellona, our menu is created using only the finest ingredients with a vegan and vegetarian spin on classic Italian dishes. Johnnie Fusco and his wife, Aggie, invite you to their family.

The Fusco family name begins in a small town, Bellona, just outside of Naples, Italy and continues to grow its family tree through generational recipes. We want to capture family nights at Nonna’s and are inviting everyone to our family!

Nestled in the heart of Little Italy, we invite you to our newest location. Bellona is the name of the town the Fusco family’s legacy began, and it is here — as close to Italy as we can get — it continues. We invite you to get cozy, grab a drink and have a bite!

                                                The servers were absolutely amazing (whoever was working the evening on Sat, Feb 22, 2025) - they were all great! The food tasted amazing too - the pasta tasted very al dente and chewy. The desserts were to die for!

                                                Food was great, noise level was moderate but manageable, and service was excellent. The $27 Cantina menu is stellar value.

                                                The eggplant sliders are to die for! Seriously soo good, and the pesto cream pasta. We enjoyed everything and it was our first time. I will be going back for sure! Such a great spot if you have dairy intolerance or are vegetarian/vegan.

                                                Made a reservation and walked to the restaurant only to be disappointed as it was closed. Was not contacted or informed about the closure and would have made alternative dining arrangements had I known as my mom was visiting Toronto for the weekend and we were looking to celebrate. Was looking forward to trying a new veg place in my neighborhood but was disappointed by this experience and a lack of communication.

                                                Victoria, I am unsure how you did not receive the voice message that we had cancelled all the reservations (in fact we cancelled over 50 reservations that day, you were the only one that didn't get the message) It was the worst snowstorm of the year and we decided to close both locations for the safety of our staff and guests. We also posted on our Instagram page and updated our hours on google. So to say we did not communicate the closure, is merely your opinion and not fact. We will be contacting Openable to have your review investigated as you scored us a 1.0 on service, food, ambiance, and noise yet as you mentioned you did not step foot into the restaurant. a 1.0-star review based on nothing, but anger hurts our family business. Thank you for your review.

                                                Food and service was absolutely amazing! The server we had was absolutely delightful! Super friendly, so many delicious vegan/plant based options. The lasagna, ravioli, focaccia and truffle fries were great! The tiramisu for dessert is a must! So excited to go back and try more! 10/10 recommend!

                                                My partner and I attended for Valentines day and had a 10/10 experience. The 'calamari' and lemon cream pasta were delicious. And all the staff were extremely friendly. We will be returning!

                                                Love, love, love this place. They were a little understaffed due to some of the servers being sick but we didn't mind that it was bit a slower than usual. Their servers are so friendly and the food is always great.
