This was a complete disappointment. It was a busy night but they only had 1 bartender. It took forever to get a drink. Once we were seated it took a long time for our waiter to serve us. Long wait for the table experience with a chef. Food was ok. I will not go back very poorly run.

My husband and I really love Benihana's and have been celebrating my husband and friends birthday's for years, even when there was only 2 locations in the Dallas metroplex. I like that the chef's still do all of the tricks to make it fun and all the interaction with the chef/server's that try to make it special. However, he entertainment value is not enough to compensate for the cost of eating there any longer.. We ordered 3 meals with shrimp fried rice, no alcohol, no appetizer's, and extra bowl of shrimp fried rice for the birthday boy, and the tab was over $200! Of course the birthday coupon took $30 off, but no alcohol, no appetizer's, nothing extra a bowl of shrimp fried rice!! Make it make sense?!! I would hate to have to give up on this tradition because my family loves Benihana's, but we are about to become retiree's and I'm concerned that we may not be able to enjoy this like we used too. So, please think about including maybe a senior menu or possibly maybe even lowering prices a little.. especially since we're all afraid of how "new government regime" may affect every American's pocket book. Thank you for following up and listening.

Very disorganized! Our reservation noted that we were not doing hibachi, but I guess the host didn’t get the memo. She made us wait 15 minutes because she thought we were waiting for hibachi. We eventually sat at the bar, but the bar was full of dirty plates and dishes from the previous guests. Our bartender was STRESSED. She was manning the whole restaurant by herself. There were plenty of servers around, but most of them were standing around and talking to each other.

The food was very good however the service was terrible. Even with a reservation we had to wait 35 minutes to be seated. After that it took a long time for the food and service to begin.

I recommend not going to Benihana on the weekend. Way too crowded and they clearly don’t have enough wait staff. We went the entire meal without anything to drink. They finally gave us a refill when all of the food was gone. I ordered chicken. It was severely over cooked. The rest of the food was ok but when the main isn’t good it overshadows everything else.

The service left us with a poor experience at the end. Everything was ok, but at the end we had issues with our waitress, when we asked for the ice cream at the end since its included with our course, she started giving a speech to one of my friends that simply asked about it that they were too busy and that she would have to do too many trips to just put the order since they did not have enough people, we told her that we didn't mind waiting or taking it to go, she never put the order in, we went to ask the front desk, when the manager came to resolve the issue, he mentioned that the waitress said that we didn't want the ice cream anymore and that she didn't know why we were waiting. This was after 30 min of wait time for just ice cream. At the end they tried to resolve it, but it was just poor taste what we had to go through just for something that was already included on our course.

We went in at 5:15 on Friday & sat at the bar. We were only 2 of 5 people at the bar, with no one sitting at the bar tables, and the restaurant was not yet busy. We ordered fairly quickly, knowing it would be getting busy. It was difficult to get the bartender’s attention & he kept disappearing. Neither appetizer came out before our entrees. The edamame finally came after we asked about it, as it had been sitting in the server area waiting to be picked up. The potstickers never came, and we had to ask to have them removed from the bill. The chicken fried rice was ok. Veggie fried rice was not even “fried”, it was mostly white & clumpy, barely warm, with no flavor. The hibachi veggies were a plate full of barely cooked onions & zucchini, swimming in grease. Just gross. This was our 3rd or 4th time here, and although none of our visits were great, this was definitely the worst. We had high hopes as we have had great experiences at their other locations, but for all of the options in the area, we will likely not be back here.

The food was great. Danny was a very good chef. The service as a whole was good, but it took over 20 minutes after we were finished to check out our bill. We were also sitting at the grill for at least 10 minutes before anyone came over. I love the restaurant but the whole experience takes entirely too long. Word of advice, go before you’re starving because you’re going to wait a while to eat. The whole process took 2 hours.
