Always an amazing experience. Great staff and delicious food. Always consistent. Our server Tik was awesome. Great service and good laughs. We always leave happy.

My husband and I absolutely love this place! They were super busy this past Friday night when we dined there, but luckily we had reservations. The food was so good, and the service was fabulous, our cocktails were amazing (he had Long Island iced tea and I had Old Fashioned), and the food was delicious- definitely recommend the short rib and lobster (while this one lasts!)

Bennett’s West Side Grill was wonderful as always, but was disappointed that there was a “limited” menu I suppose for the holidays. We just figured out something from the menu, but will be happy to get back to the original menu after the holidays. Otherwise, service and quality was fantastic as usual.

The overall experience was ok at the Rocklin location. The food was great but the service was poor. This is my second time dining at Bennett’s. The first time was at the Sacramento location. We made reservations for 4 and when we arrived to check in, we asked if we could be seated at a high table in the bar area where we noticed there were a few empty tables. Management said those were reserved, so we were escorted to a table in the main dining area which seemed a bit uncomfortable. So we nicely asked if we could sit at in of the two empty booths near us and management said those were reserved for people who had walked in after us. I was a bit confused and asked the manager if we had to special request or reserve a specific table when making our reservation, he said no we just figure out the seating as people come in or by reservations received (the other parties were the same number or less than our party of 4). The situation became a bit frustrating as the explanation didn’t make sense, so I asked to be clear if the empty booths were available?… the manager said in a frustrated tone, no not at this time. After a few minute’s later the manger walked over to our table and said he can go ahead and seat us at one of the two empty booths. The 2nd frustration was ordering the prime rib special as advertised in the menu I was given which listed a choice of soup or salad. When ordering the waitress said sorry it doesn’t come with soup or salad it $8 more to add it. That was confusing as I pointed out what it read on the menu and on the TV monitor in the restaurant. She said no it doesn’t come with soup or salad because we are using another “winter” menu, still didn’t make sense. I will not be going back to that location. The staff attitudes were snotty and they didn’t make the dining experience easy. Last, I also indicated on the reservation that it was a birthday celebration, which never came up by the hostess or waitress. Do they not read the details?

We had a party of 5 for lunch. Salads and sandwiches were all yummy. Cornbread was the bomb!

I've typically enjoyed the Bennett's Roseville location but the Rocklin has been inconsistent. We recently had dinner party of four (two adults, two adult children) on Christmas Eve. The quality and value of our orders varied greatly. My son had an enchilada plate for $20, which included two small/medium sized enchiladas and no sides. My ribs and chicken plate, which included waffle fries, was massive, and only $5 more. The enchiladas was a poor value, while mine was comparatively very good. The food tasted good, not great. The service was friendly and attentive but a 20% gratuity was automatically added to our bill. I'm used to added gratuity with large parties (I was a server myself once upon a time). Perhaps it was added due to the holiday (Christmas Eve) but the server didn't mention it and we didn't see any disclosures noting the policy, which just felt wrong. I have now gone a few times and keep expecting more based on my previous experiences at the Roseville location but have been slightly disappointed. It's not bad. It's just not exceptional in any way.

We had a wonderful experience! The food was fantastic and the service was amazing. The patio was a little cold at first but it warmed up. We had a wonderful Christmas Eve dinner!
