Set in the revitalized James St. North neighbourhood, Berkeley North is a West Coast inspired restaurant located on historic King William Street in the heart of downtown Hamilton. Berkeley North is the go to spot for a quick bite to eat, weekend late night cocktails, celebrating a special occasion or hosting a private party. Our young and passionate culinary team follows no scripts or rules when creating vibrant and unique dishes. We allow the seasons to influence our changing menu and are committed to using responsibly sourced ingredients.     This was the second year in a row that I went with my fiancé for our anniversary. I had the Tuna Crudo, Chana rolls and vegan chocolate cake and it is something I would eat again and again.

    I absolutely love the vegan tasting menu. It had a little bit of everything and we loved it , it was tasty, brought out warm in on time. Thank you for having a menu that caters to vegans. I wish more restaurants would follow suit allowing vegans and vegetarians to eat some thing other than fries and salad. The smoky gentleman cocktail was probably one of the best bourbon cocktails I've ever had in my life. So good I recommend everybody to go Berkeley north. 😃

    This restaurant has been on my bucket list to try and it did not disappoint. Everything about this meal was perfect--the service, the food & the atmosphere. I would highly recommend you treat yourself to the experience.

    A favourite of ours when in Hamilton, the locally sourced food is always excellent, and reasonably priced. The atmosphere is also good, and our server took great care of us during our dinner. Highly recommend this restaurant.

    Delicious and creative food! Three of us got three different things and all agreed that our dishes were exceptional. You will not regret getting the fresh cheese and sourdough. Beautiful restaurant with stunning interior as well. If I lived here, I would definitely be a regular.

    Nice atmosphere but would never go back. Not only was the food quality a bit of a let down... (both of the apps we shared and our mains), but I was served a dish containing one of my allergies after specifying them ahead of time and double checking. My server was wonderful but the kitchen and management were very poor. The manager/owner completely ignored us, visiting with tables nearby after we witnessed her being informed about the situation at hand. She ever argued with our server about taking the item off of our bill. While putting our coats on she sheepishly came over and said she was "so sorry". What a great way to celebrate my birthday !

    Truly sensational from start to finish! Fun vibes, amazing staff and there was not one bad dish. I cannot wait to go again! We were celebrating a birthday and I felt like they took such great care of us. Also, as non-alcoholic beverage drinkers, there were so many fun options.

    This place is fantastic! The staff really goes out of their way to make everyone feel welcomed and appreciated. The food is always great. There isn’t a bad choice on the menu. I look forward to going back soon.

    This place is excellent! From the service to the food, everything is perfection. The atmosphere is incredible as well. This is a must eat location in Hamilton. Plan ahead and make your reservation early.
