Binchotan: Bar & Grill is a gathering place for friends and family to enjoy a fresh take on Asian cuisine. Our menu features the time-honored tradition of grilling meat, seafood and produce over an open flame. ここの料理が日本の和食と思われると困ります。シーフードの備長炭焼きセット$135を注文しました。七味唐辛子を多頭していたり、白身魚を甘いタレで味付けしたり、胡麻、サルサソースやマヨネーズを足して食べるように工夫していますが料理と言えません。付いていたライスも不味かったです。サラダは、美味しかったのですがピーナッツは、もう少し細かくくだいた方が良いと思います。お店の雰囲気やスタッフの対応が大変素晴らしかったのでメインのお料理が残念です。

景色とサービスは最高ですが、すでに焼いてある串が、備長炭の入った器に載っているのは、日本人のわたしとしてはイマイチまんぞくできませんでした。

We were very impressed with the quality of the food. We had the Robatayaki (one seafood and one meat) with the pork belly fried rice! It was delicious. The wait staff was great and friendly. The corkage fee was $45 which we though was on the higher side but non the less worth every penny.

We ending up coming back to this restaurant during our day! It was fabulous. The crispy rice with Aji tuna, the shrimp with macadamia nuts, the pork belly fried rice were all spectacular. The service was excellent and the view sitting out on the back deck was nothing short of as spectacular.

The service was good. The food was fair. The sashimi was nicely prepared but the tuna was flavorless. Seafood robatayaki was overcooked, dry, and lacked flavor. Again, the tuna was sadly overdone, dry, and flavorless. Fried rice was good. We will pass on this restaurant in the future.

The mahi mahi was overcooked. The waiter did not provide us with an itemized bill. He gave us the bill with the tip already added in. He did not tell us that he added in the tip until I asked for an itemized bill. We were a party of only 4 people, so there was no reason for him to add his own tip and not tell us about it until we questioned the bill.

Amazing food and amazing service! Steak was delicious and vegetable fried rice best ever! We started with the shrimp as appetizer and that was so yummy! Shout out to our waitress Brandy she was so nice and Brandi the hostess so pleasant. Thank you for a delightful dinner. We will return:)

I was excited to try this restaurant because I love Japanese food, but my visit was hampered by the service. Food coming to the bar patrons was brought to the wrong person/party multiple times during my time there. There was no silverware behind the bar, so people were receiving their food but then having to wait for the server to come back with forks, chopsticks, etc. I don’t know if/how much the storm that night factored into it. The bartender gave me some sake on the house to make up for the service. The food was okay but not worth the money.

The restaurant was kind enough to accommodate for our large party and moved us inside when the winds became strong. Decent food and on the pricier side but overall good experience.
