That’s why our menu is much more than a traditional steakhouse: terrific cuts, of course, complimented by locally caught seafood, sides fresh from the farmers market, and award-winning wine from across the globe. We’re not just for celebrating, and we’re not just a steakhouse: we’re the sophisticated dining experience that every steakhouse wants to be when it grows up. Valet parking is available, free for the first two hours with validation. Street parking is also available without a permit after 5pm daily and on the weekends.

            We reserved a table last fall for a Valentines Day dinner this past Friday evening and also reserved a two night stay at the hotel. We had scanned the menu and found an entree we both liked before making the reservation. Once we arrived for our Valentines Day dinner we were told that the menu was fixed and could not be changed. When we made reservations on the website there was no mention that we could see detailing a fixed menu for dinner that evening. We felt mislead and trapped. We ordered an $70 bottle of wine and tried to make the best of it. We received a very small slice of raw tuna for the first course and a small amount of greens with cheese, we had a main course of a small piece of salmon and rutabaga, a small plate with chocolate moose and what appeared to be rice crispies in it for dessert. We were given a bill and with the wine and the tip it was over $340.00. The price was not the issue as much as the surprise of the fixed menu and the quality and portion size of the total meal however the service and ambiance was great. We would. Recommend that they make an extra effort to communicate a fixed menu with pricing on their website and in the reservation correspondence in the future.

            Wonderful venue…ordered the NY Strip and was abit disappointed..too much grizzle. But Crostini, salad, potatoes and dessert were great

            Valentine’s Day dinner: outrageously overpriced! Food was mediocre at best. NY Strip was full of gristle and served lukewarm. Portions were very small. The salad bowl was chipped. The service was good, but that was the only thing good. A very loud jerk was seated behind us wearing a golf hat. Hardly appropriate for a restaurant which pretends to be upscale. Don’t waste your money. There are many better restaurants in Charlottesville.

            Much improved service from 1 year ago. The food was timed better between courses and our server and front of house was attentive.

            Beautiful decor. Server was pleasant and knowledgeable. Cocktails overpriced and definitely misunderstanding. Took three times and still wasn’t correct. Carrot appetizer tasty was supposed to be roasted till soft yet still hard and crunchy. Flavors of steak and sauce delicious yet served barely lukewarm and cold within five minutes. Delicious carrot cake dessert. Was not a good experience that makes me wanna go back.

            The limited menu for Restaurant Week had wonderful selections and those items chosen were delicious. Our server was exceptional. The ambiance was pleasant and inviting. Overall a very enjoyable evening.

            First visit there as part of Restaurant Week, and it was amazing - food was great, Becca was a fantastic server, lighting was just right. Looking forward to next time!
