   Fabulous lunch chosen from the April set menu. Super presentation and tasted delicious. Best meal I have had out in a very long time. Service was excellent. Exceptional value for money. 2 courses for £19.95. Will definitely be visiting again.

   MY mother in law has a garlic allergy and the chef went through the menu dish by dish highlighting which had garlic and then cooked a garlic free main course- fantastic service and great food

   Continues to impress, fantastic offering à la carte, and at present a particularly good set menu offer for dinner as well as lunch. Service was impeccable, charming, prompt and friendly as always. As for food -it was delicious as expected beautifully presented with perfectly cooked vegetables. (We both had Pork medallions from set menu highly recommended). We will be back soon for some more.    My friend needed a non fat menu, she called and spoke with the chef who gave suggestions to accommodate her needs. She was exceptionally pleased with the result. I had Caesar salad, it was delicious, one of the best I'd ever had. It was too big after the starter I had so I was able to take it away with me.

    My cauliflower starter was badly cooked and tasted like a brown dish from Iceland, sorry it was horrible. They replaced it with the beetroot and goats cheese which looked lovely but was straight from the fridge with wet rocket and very cold overall so little flavour. The vegetable strudel was well presented but was was lacking in flavour despite sounding very promising. My husband’s calves liver dish was very good as was the sticky toffee pudding. Overall the staff were very nice but the food was very disappointing overall which is a shame as it has been given such good write ups recently which is why we booked.
