    Another festive evening at Big. I introduced a colleague and he loved the vibes, craft cocktails and menu. The staff was attentive and accommodating.

    The music was nice but the noise level drowned it out. You couldn’t have a conversation with people at your table over dinner. The noise was too much . Ruined the ambiance as a speakeasy with jazz.

    This restaurant is one of the best in San Francisco hands down. From the mysterious alley where it is located to the very high level of service, there is nothing about this restaurant that ever disappoints. The food is fantastic and the desserts are unique. The restaurant is vibrant but you also feel like you have privacy at your table. And the service — exceptional in every single sense of the word.

    Bix remains a very special hidden gem. The ambience is lively and cool. the steak tartare is a favorite every time. Our entire meal was excellent, as always.

    totally awesome restaurant. The food was amazing and the service was top-notch. The place has a great vibe. Next time we go, we’re going early to sit at the bar. Can’t wait.

    It’s been better. The food and service this time was not at the usual standard. The menu had become a bit dull and the desserts need an overhaul.

    Sadly, this old-time SF favorite was less than impressive. The food was fair at best; the kitchen forgot orders, but the servers and bussers were friendly enough. Was hoping for more.
