Overall, the experience was disappointing. From the outset, my water glass contained dried food remnants, and the bar incorrectly prepared my husband's beer. While this was not the fault of our waitress—who accurately repeated our order and confirmed the correct beer on her tablet—it still impacted the overall experience.
I ordered the Winter Margarita, which was enjoyable and, to be honest, the highlight of the meal. We started with the chili oil potstickers and garlic shrimp toast, both of which arrived at room temperature. Unfortunately, both dishes were underseasoned and overcooked. Additionally, the shrimp toast was served on what appeared to be old hotdog buns, which was unexpected.
For the main course, my Atlantic salmon was overcooked and lacking flavor despite being drenched in a thick butter sauce. The rice accompanying it was crunchy and tasted stale, while the broccoli was mushy. I sent the dish back and opted not to order another. My husband's prime rib, though passable, was not particularly memorable. He only managed to eat half of it. His meal also included two sides, a soup, and a complimentary pizookie. Unfortunately, the asparagus was raw, the potato was undercooked, and he ended up scraping the cheese and bacon off the potato to make it more palatable. Furthermore, the soup arrived with a dirty spoon already placed in the bowl, making it impossible to request a clean one, and the soup itself was inedible.
The dessert, the cinnamon roll pizookie, was particularly underwhelming. It appeared to be canned Pillsbury cinnamon rolls, excessively covered in a thick, overly sweet icing, which seemed to mask the quality of the dish.
Although the salmon was comped, we still spent $120 for a subpar meal. I would like to emphasize that our waitress was not at fault for any of the issues; however, the bar staff made a mistake with the drink order, and several dishes were dropped during our 45-minute visit.
