The newest restaurant at Kingston Resorts showcases the best local fare in a comfortable setting. All 40 beers on tap come from the states of North and South Carolina and the entire menu is Carolina born and brewed. Share small plates and appetizers, try fresh seafood, and house-smoked meats while enjoying ocean views. Order a craft beer at the outdoor beer garden and play favorite yard games such as cornhole in the new event space.

Above the restaurant, find a new event space with high ceilings, exposed wood beams, and floor to ceiling retractable windows with ocean views and an upper balcony for outdoor weddings, receptions, and events overlooking the new pool.

Walk-in guests are always welcome!

Our waiter was very polite and patient. I had fish & Chips, and my wife had the bourbon glazed Salmon. Food was done to perfection. Atmosphere was nice, I believe in warmer months it would be nicer sitting out side which is open to ocean view. We plan on going back.

Very nice restaurant! Outdoor view beautiful! Food: pizza and the brisket meal delicious! Drinks: bourbon cocktail and the valentines flight innovative and good! Service from host to servers pleasant and nice. Second visit as good as the first.

I am so glad I found Black Drum Brewery and will be back! The food and service were amazing. They had a local performer Saturday evening who was very talented. Our server Josh was always checking in on our table seeing how everything was and if we needed anything else. The beer selections were awesome. We did a couple of flights, and all the beers were great. Can't wait to come back when the weather is warmer and can enjoy the outside.

Great place to enjoy good BBQ and drinks with friends. Nice ocean side setting in Kingston Resort. Staff was friendly and helpful, our waiter was great. A bit expensive but not out of line with similar restaurants in Myrtle Beach. This was our 4th visit to Black Drum around, and it didn’t disappoint.

The atmosphere is beautiful! It was great food and the server was so sweet and efficient! I loved the Christmas lights at this time of year too!

The entrees are in the $25-45 range and ours were served on metal platters with PAPER as a base under your food. The restaurant has an impressive exterior but once you get inside you find many of the seating choices are Picnic tables. The food was subpar and heavily salted/seasoned. The service was friendly but consistently very slow. We were under the impression that it was an upscale establishment given the pricing, but unfortunately it is definitely not. We are not going to recommend to friends.

This was our second visit to Black Drum. It was fabulous! We had the small barbecue sampler platter and shared it with everyone at the table. There were leftovers! Our food was delicious! Our server was excellent! We will return!

When we first arrived we were very surprised of how inviting and beautiful the facility was. Upon entering we were welcomed very friendly and sat promptly. We did have a reservation. We were sat in an area that was close to the door and after a few short minutes we were very uncomfortable with the draft coming in from the front door. As soon as we brought it to our servers attention (Ashland) we were immediately relocated to another table in her section with no fuss. She happily made us comfortable. The food was a holiday menu and did not disappoint. Compliments to the chef. Drinks were amazing, deserts were amazing. Overall, a great experience. We will be returning in the very near future.
