Liberty Entertainment Group's 2024 project in the iconic Union Station. Blue Bovine combines the traditional steakhouse with the traditional Japanese sushi house to fashion a distinctly modern dining experience. Combining custom elements, such as exclusively designed Canadian maple wood furniture, manufactured in Toronto with bespoke artwork, handcrafted lighting details, and a warm colour palette of deep reds, seawater blues and layers of white to reflect Toronto's four seasons. Honouring the integrity of local and natural elements, the restaurant's ethos is expressed both through the commitment to local menu ingredients on the plate and local and natural material honesty in the design.

    My family loved the Blue Bovine. Although we live in Toronto, we were excited to experience it with grown up children. My daughter suggested sharing seafood and steak so we ordered the seafood Tower as well as a Tomahawk steak which served 5 nicely. The service was truly excellent. The decor was lovely. A wonderful upscale restaurant right next to Union Station in downtown Toronto. A classic steak house!!

    The food at the blue bovine was delicious and the service was impeccable. Our wait staff was super friendly and a joy to have them serve us. They always arrived with smile and did friendly banter with us while we were there. They made the dinner a special occasion for my birthday dinner with my friends and I. I would definitely come back. It was that great of a place to eat at.

    I visited this restaurant on my birthday with my family, and despite making a reservation beforehand, we were given the worst table possible. It was placed right next to the kitchen and near the restroom, making the experience unpleasant and uncomfortable. I’ve tried calling multiple times and even sent an email, but I haven’t received any response. I’m very disappointed with the service and the lack of communication. I hope the management takes this seriously and improves the experience for future customers.

    With the exception of our steak being a little cool, the food was amazing. Our server was fantastic., I hope to get him again. They had recommended a Canadian wine Stratus that was comparable to some of my favourite Californian wines. It was a beautiful wine.
