Enjoyed the ‘restaurant week’ options and was thoroughly impressed — fresh dishes, wonderful service and great atmosphere. Loved the trout dip and key lime pie! Will be returning next time I’m in the Cherry Creek area.

Celebrated a friend's birthday on a weekday's lunchtime. Kendall, our server, exceeded our expectations. We really appreciated the fresh pot of coffee at no charge! Food and drinks were phenomenal. Even engaged in a memorable conversation with the manager. Highly recommend!

Blue Island oyster bar is always a great experience. The food is fabulous, annd this trip was no exception. Loved my surf and turf, and you really should try the smoked trout dip. It was definitely busy, but the staff were great and kept things moving even through the craziness of restaurant week.

"Trout dip" was unidentifiable and tasteless. Sea bass was okay, but I've had better. Desserts--key lime pie and blood orange cake(?)-- were completely blah and amateurish. (But to be fair, the desserts tasted somewhat better 24 hours later as leftovers.)

We went for Denver Restaurant Week. The food, as always, was good, though the noise level made it difficult to carry on a conversation.
