' ..... Welcome to Bluebird, a wood-fired steakhouse featuring the best of Alberta beef including your favorite classic cuts and all-day-roasted Prime rib. Bluebird is where brunch and cocktails collide into fireside lunch which glides into happy hour and then swooshes into dinner where the après begins. With the fire stoked high, we are ready for you to ski through the front door and tell us all about it. It’s always a bluebird day in our mid-century chalet.

    I had high hopes for this restaurant, but overall, it was a disappointing experience. We chose this place for our anniversary and mentioned it in the reservation, yet there was no acknowledgment from the staff—not even a simple “Happy Anniversary.” The food was underwhelming. It was overly salty, with too many spices that overwhelmed the flavors rather than enhancing them. To make matters worse, the food arrived lukewarm, which made it even less enjoyable. Presentation was also lacking—nothing looked particularly appetizing or well-plated. On a positive note, the service was okay. The staff was polite and did their job, but nothing stood out as exceptional. Overall, this was not the experience we were hoping for. Between the mediocre food, lack of attention to detail, and missed opportunity to make our celebration special, I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant or return in the future.

    The food was excellent and cooked to perfection. Our server was polite and very attentive. The hostess was rude. We arrived a little early and requested a drink at the bar. We were told to wait outside or go to a brewery. The wait was only going to be 10 minutes.

    After one week in Banff, the last evening was dedicated to the best dining experience we had. And our second visit here didn’t disappoint. One of the best places in town.

    We visited the Bluebird on a Saturday evening and were so glad we had made reservations — it was quite busy but we were seated right away. We ordered the cheesy doughnuts to start and they were quite good! As our main, we had the prime rib with the cheesy mashed potatoes and mushrooms and it was all amazing! The food came out really quick. Would definitely recommend the Bluebird!

    Made reservations for my anniversary and did not disappoint. Had the table side tarter and was amazing flavour. The steak was also amazingly done will definitely be coming back. The prices you pay reflect the food quality and flavour!

    unreal sharing steaks. Mushroom and sprouts sides are unique and amazing. Sierra is an amazing server.

    We went for happy hour fondue and it was amazing. The food was great and the service was top notch. Highly recommend if you want to have fondue at a reasonable price
