I chose to visit on Valentine's Day, and it turned out to be quite a disappointment. I had made a reservation for 9 PM, but when I arrived, there was no one at the little desk to welcome or assist us with seating. We waited around 15 to 20 minutes before I decided to reach out to someone. Even though several staff members walked by us multiple times, none stopped to check if we had a reservation or needed help. I get that it was a busy holiday, but they really should be better prepared for that. It only takes a moment to acknowledge customers at the door and let them know they’re being taken care of.
To make matters worse, we didn’t receive our food until 11 PM. The seating was terrible, and having a reservation didn’t seem to matter at all. It’s surprising that on such a busy day, there isn’t a time limit for tables or reservations to ensure fairness for everyone. As a business, they should anticipate busy events and have a solid plan in place. No excuses.
Our bill came to over $150, plus tip. The rice tasted like it came from a microwaveable bag, and the steak was overly salty. It was way too expensive for what we received. I’d rate the service a 3, the ambiance a 4, and the food a 2. I won’t be returning. They really need to step up their game, especially for a place that charges a premium. It was a real letdown. Hopefully, they’ll improve for the next busy holiday.
