   Amazing food and service. Perfect for an intimate birthday dinner for two. Service is very thoughtful, very impressed. The upsell to the wagyu is nice but at the $85/portion price, may not be worth it if you’re already full by the end of the many courses

   Dining at Bōm was a truly unforgettable experience! Every detail was thoughtful and precise - they welcomed us with a personalized menu and a handwritten anniversary message at our table. Each dish was beautifully presented and just perfect in flavor and execution - plus seeing the raw ingredients, including the biggest crab I’ve ever seen, before preparation added such a unique and impressive layer to the experience. The wine pairings were exceptional, served in impossibly delicate stemware, and the service was flawless. Watching the chefs work was a pleasure, and the evening ended perfectly with a custom dessert message. Bōm is an absolute must for anyone seeking an extraordinary dining experience in NYC!

   The omakase style experience in its own room with a counter one sits around was exquisite. Everything was fluffy and melt-in-your mouth, including the beef. One disappointment: the domestic wine pairing choice was too much on a sour side for many, not really up to the food. The non-alcoholic pairing was quite creative and allowed discovery of some quite interesting aternatives. A few not good notes: when we came into the restaurant 10 minutes early we were told to wait at the bar before being seated while others were shown in? This was aggravating. I'm also not enthused about being charged in full at the time of reservation a few weeks prior which is somewhat obnoxious.
