BONDST, located at 20 Hudson Yards, is the first ever expansion of the trendy downtown restaurant with a warm minimalist interior design. The cuisine is new Japanese with European and Asian influences.

The original BONDST is Citysearch's 2007 and 2008 audience award winner for Best Sushi in NYC, as well as the 2008 audience award winner for Best Martini in NYC.

Our reservation was for 8:30, and we ordered plenty of appetizers and 3 entrees. We also wanted to order sushi, but as the kitchen was closing, we rushed to place the order for additional sushi dishes, which the waitress ultimately didn't order. The service was quite slow, despite the restaurant being mostly empty. The kitchen took a long time to send out the dishes, and they accidentally added an extra dish we didn’t order (though they did cancel it). We also waited nearly 20 minutes for a Diet Coke. Given that we paid 150 per person, it didn’t feel worth it, and I don’t think we’ll be returning.

We’ve been going to BONDST for over 20 years. The new location is more convenient but their salmon sushi is always off in Hudson yards. This is the second time I spit out the salmon because it’s very fishy and taste spoiled. They are very good about removing it from The bill. I hope they resolve this. All the other sushi was on point.

Our group of 10 employees had a great time -- such amazing service and delicious food. Definitely recommend.

Another fantastic dinner at Bond St. The staff hospitality sets the tone. Then the perfect vibrant, yet not over crowded atmosphere carries us into our meal. Great flavors. Tender meats, delicate sushi and wait staff knowledge of the menu makes for a great evening; along with the best cocktails. Love it.
