Murrieta’s Hospitality welcomes Borough Bar + Grill, inspired by the five boroughs of New York.

Borough Bar + Grill pays homage to the unique North American culinary tradition in a casual yet expressive space. The restaurant features a main dining room and lounge area with floating ceilings, intimate booths for a more private dining experience and a unique chef’s table for large parties.

The restaurant also includes a patisserie where guests are welcomed to grab sandwiches or a coffee for a walk through University District’s many parks and walkways.

1.5 -2 hours for each booking, please call if more time is needed.

Corporate chef Daniel Pizarro has developed a menu as diverse as the boroughs of New York.

Complete with retractable awning and fireplaces the south facing patio is the perfect spot to enjoy Calgary Summers.

All accessible from University Avenue with direct access to Central Commons Park, as well as convenient underground parking with immediate access from the plaza.

    Did the YYC EXPO lunch special for a mutual birthday lunch with a friend. Butternut Squash soup was very good, creamy and flavourful. We split the mains (Smoked Salmon Tagliatelle and Prime Rib Swiss Melt) both of which were tasty, and completely different options, so something for everyone! Blueberry Honey Cake was good, but the texture of the blueberry topping was my favourite. Service was attentive, and we were offered complimentary glasses of prosecco to celebrate. Restaurant covers 3 hours of complementary underground parking which is great. A lovely spot for lunch with friends, would definitely return.

    Service is very friendly and professional! The food is consistently excellent! Great location with underground parking. One of our favourite restaurants in Calgary!

    Expensive for a simple spaghetti meal with no dairy. Unable to provide us a container of water without charging us.

    Thoroughly enjoyed our Caesar salad and prime rib dinner special Sunday evening. Everything was prepared to perfection and the service was excellent especially considering the restaurant was very busy. A little noisier compared to our many previous visits but I believe it was because it was a full house.

    Valentine’s Day special was great .. Mushroom soup was 5 stars.. best soup I’ve ever had . Beed rib main.. better than expected cooked to perfection .. and surrounded by delicious mash and veg. Salmon was great desserts fabulous . Free Parking underground.. No Hassle..easy to find entrance behind staples
