Bosscat Kitchen & Libations perfectly meshes upscale and casual dining with an expansive whiskey selection and unique offering of American comfort food. It offers high energy, open spaced concepts to promote a lively dining experience. With the rustic industrial aesthetic, brick metal and barrels are prevalent in the space. One of its best attractions is the famous whiskey room, that houses hundreds of whiskies from several countries. From high end whiskies like Pappy Van Winkle, to a shot of Jameson & Coors Light, there is something here for everyone's taste; and Bosscat prides itself on being this type of environment. New flavors and recipes are often brought into the kitchen. All cooks on staff are encouraged to brainstorm and eat with the executive chef, Peter Petro. This collaborative process is the foundation of their culinary art. Encouraging and fostering new ideas with seasonal produce, meats and spices fosters the fun and unique dining experience they so strongly emulate.

    Somehow my BLT was offered with fries instead of the house chips but wasn't informed we would be charged for fries, otherwise I would've just gotten the house chips.

    First time here. Great brunch. Food and drinks were good. Prices were not as high as you would expect with the increasing price of literally everything. Great service and love the patio seating. Appreciate that they kept a lot of the memorabilia from Rod’s too. Will definitely be back the next time I’m in Orange.

    Always liked the food and vibe of Bosscat. My favorite time to come was for Sunday Brunch, but they don't offer flights of champagne anymore like they used to. A single glass of champagne is now $9.00! Prices overall are up, which I guess is a result of inflation. I'll be back, but less often and probably not for brunch.

    I’ve been here over 20x and it’s awesome. I brought a friend to try the pork chop since it’s always consistently good. This one time , yesterday, the pork chop was dry and tasteless. Kind of a bummer my friend had high expectations. Anyhow. Probably a fluke since it’s always awesome .

    Down in LA for a short work trip. Searched for places with reservations that could accommodate just 3 people within a short period of time. Came across this restaurant and I 100% judged a book by its cover. The food photos looked absolutely amazing (not even knowing what some of them were). Our waitress Megan was the best, and gave us great recommendations. Had the nachos and added short ribs...OMG The happy hour short rib grilled cheese was delicious (add the fried pickles to the grilled cheese ) The Brussels Sprouts and the Sweet Papas Braves hit the spot too! I honestly don't know if they have anything bad on the menu. The restaurant ambiance was perfect, music not too loud and the whiskey decor and neon lights just add to it all. Great location in a cute downtown area, will definitely return. Whiskey

    We came to Bosscat with a party of 12 (10 adults and two toddlers) to celebrate a birthday. Making the reservation was very easy. The food was good and they of course have a large whisky collection. They even brought a free dessert out for the birthday. Things that I wish were a tad better: Some appetizers came out after the entrees. We waiting longer than ideal for alcoholic drinks (to be ordered and brought to the table). The noise level was loud enough that our server had a difficult time hearing/ understanding us. Overall, I understand large parties can be difficult to serve, and I would come back despite the very minor “issues”.

    Late dinner. Nice ambience and service but let down by food. Salmon was layered with a rich sauce that overtook the flavor of the fish.
