   El mesero que nos atendio tenia una exprecion de molestia cada que le preguntabamos algo. En dos ocaciones menciono que pronto iban a cerrar, lo que hizo que no disfrutaramos la comida. Nos sentimos apresurados en todo momento. Al final pedimos la cuenta y se tardo mucho en llegar, por lo que tuvimos que pedirle a otro mesero que, porfavor, nos trajera la cuenta.

   Botanico was recommended by a few friends who’d been on recent visits to Mexico City. Easy to understand why. The understated, unassuming entry gives way to a fantastic private garden space with massive tress, bamboo, plants, and pond. A peek into the glass enclosed kitchens create a fascinating floor show of food prep by the master chefs. It’s impossible not to feel like you’re in some secret garden of delight. The menu apparently changes season to season. At first look, you might think the dishes are relatively basic but the artistry is not in the words on the menu, it’s in the divine chemistry in the kitchen. We enjoyed and shared everything. Standouts were the Carmelized Onion Caramelle (one of the most delicious things I’ve eaten) and the Sea Bass in buerre blanc and peas which I can describe as elegant and velvety. The intricacy of the flavors develops with each bite. I suggest choosing a very light white wine or simple, clear cocktail to accompany these two dishes. With no room for dessert, we just couldn’t pass up the Crème Brûlée with olives. I’d read in a review that it was something special, which it was. Whoever thought of that combination is a visionary. The diners on both sides of us got the Panna Cotta, which they said was beyond compare so I’m adding that even though we didn’t try it. Let yourself enjoy this full sensory experience. Drink lightly, share dishes, watch the chefs in the kitchen, look up at the treetops and take your time eating.

   El lugar es un oasis en la ciudad de Mexico, esta lleno de cactaseas y naturaleza que combina muy bien con la temática del restaurante, la comida estuvo deliciosa, pedimos las tostadas de atun como entrada y me dejaron queriendo pedir mas, la hamburguesa un must, sencilla pero deliciosa, las papas fritas, las mejores que he comido en mucho tiempo, las bebidas estuvieron buenas, sin embargo… quiza porque estaba lleno, el ambiente en un punto se volvio un poco aturdidor, mucho ruido, el espacio entre las mesas es reducido y eso ayuda a que recibas muchos estimulos de otras mesas. sin embargo regresaria para cenar en esta ocasion. Un must de la ciudad de Mexico

   Excelente servicio, gracias, solo sugiero cuidar la prisa de los meseros ya que me recogieron sin preguntar mi bebida sin haberla concluido, mi servilleta, etc, etc

   We went for lunch, the place it’s beautiful and worth the visit to see the garden. Food was average and dish sizes were small. Prices were high and so was the clientele. Probably would recommend to go for drinks before dinner to see the garden.

    “One of the best restaurants we’ve been to, offering excellent food and service in a beautiful garden with a unique setting. This is definitely a place we’ll look forward to returning to with friends and family.
