Located on Frankfort Avenue restaurant row in the historic Clifton neighborhood, we offer more than 130 bourbons, as well as a selection of antique expression whiskies that you won’t find anywhere else.
Bourbons features upscale dining in an elegant but casual atmosphere and a bourbon-inspired seasonal menu graced by southern inspired cuisine.

    The restaurant maybe rented out for large parties, or on days we are closed from lunches to special parties. Just call the restaurant to see if we can accommodate your group. We have a separate space in addition to our main dining room that’s on our 2nd floor that we utilize for rehearsal dinners, birthday parties, you name it.

    The service was excellent. The food was outstanding. I had the salmon and my companion had the pork chop as entrees. We ate every bite. I highly recommend.

    Fantastic food and great service. The only issue we had was with the smoked old fashioned drinks we ordered. The bartender smoked an empty glass then tried to hold that over the old fashioned, which is not at all how you’re supposed to do that. The menu also indicated luxardo cherry and muddled orange, which it had neither. Not sure how they won a bourbon bar award when they don’t know how o make an old fashioned. Otherwise, the food and service were great.

    Bourbons Bistro has elements of fine dining but it’s not quite there yet. Nice location, older bones, good service. Great Bourbon selection. The food seemed to all be made from scratch. However, the steak wasn’t as flavorful as I would have expected. The fries were good. The Caesar salad was so good I ordered a 2nd. The building upgrades are in progress but not in full effect and the carpet/paint was dated IMO. I give this 3/5 stars. I would go back.

    Always a great experience. The staff is tremendous and Chef Jereme continues to create amazing dishes. A must dining and whiskey experience when in Louisville.

    The food was delicious and our server was very attentive and friendly. We enjoyed our dinner and will be back.

    Excellent food and service. Restaurant is a bit loud and could benefit from a few strategically placed mobile screens to reduce noise without altering the vibe. Overall, outstanding date night location. Will be back!

    We had a wonderful experience at Bourbon’s last night, one of our go to places for a great meal. Everything from the cocktails, to the apps, dinner and desert were all excellent! Our server was also fantastic, just wish I could remember her name! Highly recommend this gem of a place that I hope will be around for many years to come!
