Opening 7 Days for Dinner and Sunday Brunch - Starting September 24th

Chef Aless had been cooking French food in NYC at Mon Petit Cafe, her NYC family owned business until 2017. She then opened a successful catering company that's still going strong. She joined forces with her husband Justin a successful NYC restauranteur to create Brasserie.
Signature dishes are "Parisian" specialties such as Steak au Poivre, coq au vin and seafood towers. The couple also serves "American" fare with a French twist like the bistro burger and other amazing treats like mussels and fries.

Chef Aless was featured on Food Networks Chopped!! Google the "snails episode"

The restaurant vibe and decor is a replica of both Parisian and NYC French brasseries. The hospitality is both inviting and professional.

The food is simply perfection as Chef grew up on her grandparents vineyard in France and French food comes naturally.

Very overpriced for the prix fixe menu., plastic cup for the dessert. Service was basic. For $125 a person presentation could have been better. More seafood in the risotto. The appetizers were these tiny little piece of boiled potato. The waiters barely came up to us. The new years vibe was lacking- the hats they provided were not even wearable and super cheap as were the party favors. The shrimp in the Risotto was very low quality. The food did not taste bad but u could tell they budgeted with everything. They marketed well but fell extremely short with what they offered & it was not worth spending so much.. nice people but nothing special.

We went for the New Years Eve dinner. Everything was wonderful. We had a visit from the Chef. Our only complaint was the main course was served warm . not hot. The food was all wonderful but I prefer that the food be hot when I receive it. That being said we have been here multiple times and will be back again.

Very disappointing, considering the good dinners we've had here in the past, including last New Year's Eve. The meal we had last night (New Year's Eve) was considerably poorer than any meal we've ever had here. I had the veal chop, and it was tough and overcooked, despite my asking for it to be cooked medium rare. Someone else in my party had the veal too, and could only eat a small portion of it because it was so tough (to their credit, the restaurant didn't charge for her meal). The mashed potatoes the veal came with were cold. My wife had the steak, and she thought it was just okay. Our dessert was a profiterole cup, which tasted like so-so chocolate pudding. It just doesn't seem like the quality of the ingredients is as good as before, and the cooking itself is pretty indifferent, which is disappointing in a premium price dinner. To top the evening off, we were informed partway through our meal that there was a problem with the water in the building, and the restrooms couldn't be used - I wonder what they were using for cleaning and food prep since it was only about 7pm on NYE. Not a good state of affairs. I can't imagine going back unless I had some concrete evidence that things had turned around for the better.

Wonderfully decorated for the winter holiday season, warm cozy fireplace, comfortable ambiance, and delightful host. Along with the delicious food and cocktails it is a great place to dine.

First time for Christmas Eve. Top notch experience. Great atmosphere, great food, great service. This could become a regular holiday event.

We had a delicious dinner at this quiet little gem in Massapequa. Appetizer - Escargot was seasoned to perfection. Dinner - Chicken Cordon Bleu, Beef Borganion, Trout Almondine, all had a beautiful presentation & were so tasty. Staff were so accommodating and friendly. Chef Aless even came to our table. It was a wonderful birthday celebration for my sister. We will be going back.

Brasserie is perfect restaurant if you want to dine out and hear the people you are with. Lots of restaurants now have “city loudness “ where conversation is impossible. Not Brasserie, and please Bradserie do not change. I forgot to mention, the food is excellent.

The coq au vin was a treat! Hope this restaurant is around for a very long time! Shout out to Patrick who is always fun and cheerful and attentive to patrons. Co-owner and maître d' Justin is welcoming and solicitous. Last but most important is Chef Aless whose menu and skill is so appreciated. Lucky to have this quality French dining experience in little old Massapequa!

My friends and I had an amazing dinner. The entire staff was more than accommodating. I would definitely recommend going there for dinner.
