Opening 7 Days for Dinner and Sunday Brunch - Starting September 24th

Chef Aless had been cooking French food in NYC at Mon Petit Cafe, her NYC family owned business until 2017. She then opened a successful catering company that's still going strong. She joined forces with her husband Justin a successful NYC restauranteur to create Brasserie.
Signature dishes are "Parisian" specialties such as Steak au Poivre, coq au vin and seafood towers. The couple also serves "American" fare with a French twist like the bistro burger and other amazing treats like mussels and fries.

Chef Aless was featured on Food Networks Chopped!! Google the "snails episode"

The restaurant vibe and decor is a replica of both Parisian and NYC French brasseries. The hospitality is both inviting and professional.

The food is simply perfection as Chef grew up on her grandparents vineyard in France and French food comes naturally.

An excellent dinner, beautiful experience!! The food was just delectable!! The fois gras app, lamb shank dinner & French onion soup app & duck dinner. All were so tasty! What a wonderful nite. Our waiter Michael was attentive & friendly. The ambience and decor are chic & welcoming. I highly recommend this restaurant, it’s perfect for a special occasion dinner!!

First visit to Brasserie, and will be first of many. Hands down best French on LI. Went as a party of 5, and all meals were exceptional! Appetizers: Seared foie gras is the real deal and generously portioned. Baked camembert generated oohs and aahs. Mains: Filet mignon--fine cut and perfectly grilled. Cassoulet--excellent confit and perfect ratio of beans/meat. Duck Magret: tender and delicious--what you hope for in a LI duck. Bass Filet--melts in your mouth. Chicken cordon bleu: lightly breaded and fried and perfectly executed. All dishes well-presented. Table visit from chef-owner Aless is a special touch that shows class and caring! Our server Michael was a real pro! All in all an excellent experience and can't stop raving about it. Opened last year, Aless and Justin are for real! Can't wait to go back!

Had the price fix meal on a Friday night. Excellent, friendly service from greeting to leaving. Great food. Will definitely return.

We’ve enjoyed eating here several times before - this time we had the autumn salad and tuna tartar followed by the Tuesday mussel and French fries special. Everything was delicious. Lovely ambiance and friendly professional service. Good wine by the glass selections. We’re planning to go back soon for the Wednesday prix fix.

Everything at Brasserie was just wonderful. The food was delicious. The wait staff was pleasant, polite and attentive. The chef even came to the table to check on us and see how we like our meal. Everything was top notch here and I would highly recommend a visit. They have very French food like escargot and Camembert cheese and also more basic food like steak, salad and roasted chicken for those who are not too adventurous. There is something for everyone, a prixe fixe menu on certain nights and specials on all nights. I will definitely be visiting again. Excellent job Chef Aless - I wish you much success.

We love this restaurant! It’s our go to restaurant for all special occasions. Food is great! Atmosphere is beautiful and owners are very nice. Always welcoming and makes you feel special.

wonderful restaurant. excellent food. amazing ambience. Went here with my wife for our anniversary dinner. They gave us complimentary Prosecco & wished us a happy anniversary many times over. the staff were friendly & attentive. 10/10 will be returning here many times over.

Came here to celebrate birthdays and we were so impressed! Chef Aless’s Famous Roasted Chicken was true to its name, and we also enjoyed the charcuterie, burger, chicken Cordon Bleu, and ham and cheese crepes. Barely anything left on our plates! Will definitely be back soon!

Our first visit to Brasserie and it was wonderful. All in our party of four were thoroughly impressed by the menu, our individual food choices, a good bottle of wine (the wine list is both extensive and has a reasonably priced range), and nice dessert profiteroles). and the friendly and efficient service. Portions were generous and the menu included terrific specials of the day. The cassoulet (a personal favorite) was excellent, my wife raved about the trout, our friends thoroughly enjoyed their lamb shank and coq au vin. And the restaurant itself is both spacious yet classy. A fine dining experience and we’ll be back.

I had an AMAZING meal last night at Brasserie by Chef Aless!!! (Massapequa) The ambience was fantastic right from the start. Low lighting and music, a fireplace by the front door, very old school French bistro decor. We were seated in the enclosed patio, which was just as warm and inviting as the rest of the place. We ordered cocktails to start and they were great...nice pours. NOTE: No tap beers, but they have a decent bottle collection. Now, onto the food! We started with the camembert en croute, which was warm, ooey gooey and DECADENT. My husband ordered the roast duck with rice pilaf and haricot vert, and it was perfumey, smoky, and juicy as hell. I went with the lamb shank over mashed potatoes and let me tell you...it was TO. DIE. FOR. The lamb came right off the bone, it was so tender that I barely had to chew. The mashed potatoes were a perfect texture and the sauce was out of this world. Easily one of THE best meals I've had in years. NO room for dessert. The service was very attentive, noise levels were fine, and Chef Aless was out in the dining room checking on how people were enjoying their meals. She was SO warm and friendly, and is clearly passionate about her food. 10/10, highly recommend this establishment!
