Brewsters Beer Garden is located in the historic district of downtown Petaluma. We are an open-air dining restaurant with over 350 seats. Our cuisine is focused on technique driven dishes influenced by Southern Carolina BBQ and a smattering of locally sourced and sustainably raised Petaluma producers and ranchers. Think southern BBQ meets California produce with a refined touch of explosive flavors.

The dining space compliments the food perfectly as guests are treated to outdoor seating in a historic setting, with the comforts of large heat lamps, fire pit, and live music stage. We offer an array of over 30 revolving local craft beers on draft, Sonoma and Napa Valley wine, and a full selection of spirits and cocktails. Brewsters was built for people that want more than just a good meal when they eat, they want a dining experience. We are laid back, kid & dog friendly, and like to have fun.

PARKING || Street parking around Brewsters is all time-limited to 2 hours between 8am and 6pm every day except Sundays Holidays. As such, we recommend parking in one of two nearby parking garages. Keller St. Garage is located at 126 Keller Street, Petaluma and is about a 7-minute walk from Brewsters and features 4-hour parking on the ground floor with increased time limits, each floor up. The C-Street Parking Garage is located at 49 C Street, Petaluma and is about a 12-minute walk from Brewsters and features all-day parking on all levels.

Had made reservation a week plus in advance only request to not be sat in the bar area- was sat in bar area. Server seemed uninterested in our table after first encounter. Was difficult to get her attention for more than five seconds which was unfortunate because we had multiple issues with food. Got boxes for two items out of five-the three other plates were hardly touched. Instead of asking if there was anything wrong with the plates she ignored the issue. Since she hadn’t asked us anything I tried to disclose the issues we had and server seemed like she just wanted to fight.

Super fun holiday experience -- we went for the Christmas extravaganza that they hold each year and it is super cute and over-the-top festive. Super fun cocktails. Special menu (limited from their normal menu) for the holiday season. This is just your basic bar food, so this is not top notch, but is pretty basic. We had: Mac & Cheese -- you can get additional topping for additional cost, we just had the basic, it's decent/OK. Texas Style Brisket -- this comes with a roll (no butter), a pile of sweet pickles, 2 slices of brisket & a little cup of BBQ sauce. Again, it was decent/OK. Burger -- aioli, pickles, onion, lettuce, white cheddar, duck fat fries. This was good. Fries are pretty darn good (wish these came with the brisket!) Cocktails, we had: Christmaspolitan ~ Charbay vodka, elderflower, dry vermouth, spiced cranberry, rosemary, lime, absinth. Snowball Old Fashioned ~ Rittenhouse rye whiskey, gingerbread spices, wormwood bitters. Both cocktails were good, all holiday cocktails are served in fun Chirstmasy glasses or mug (which you can buy separately.) Overall, the vibe was super fun, so many fun cocktails to choose from. Food is pretty average, you are not going for a gourmet meal. I'd still recommend just for the holiday fun.

Love the holiday decorations and the fun holiday cocktail list!! Our server was great too. The apps were tasty but unfortunately my friend and I both got the short rib which was the most expensive item on the menu and we both agreed it was SO salty that it was borderline inedible. This was upsetting given it was $38+. If I wasn't in a big group I honestly would've sent it back. Everything else was truly great especially the holiday cheer but don't order the short rib!

If you're looking for a seasonal experience in Sonoma County, Brewster's is the place! We love coming to experience their Miracle every year. The staff was very accommodating, cocktails were delicious, and food was very good as well!

Service has always been hit or miss but last night was great! Holiday decor was a bonus as I didn’t think it would be up yet. Served were treat and all the food was awesome! Brussel sprouts were out of this world!!

This place is fantastic1. I have only been there for lunch but each time I've been it's great. Terrific cocktails too. Nice big outside seating area.

Wow what a disappointment! Expecting food, music and drinks around other adults but instead, as many screaming, unruly, unsupervised children as a Chuck E. Cheese! Terrible experience! Food and waitstaff were fine but service was slow. Entitled adults ignoring their kids as they ran feral throughout the place.

Great experience overall. Service was a bit scattered and slow but not entirely surprising given the set up. It was great for our young kids too. We all enjoyed ourselves!

Got there at 12:00 on a Monday afternoon. Not busy at all. Took forever for our waitress to so much as acknowledge us. Food ,however, was brought out quickly & everything was quite tasty. Would definitely go back again.
