Home of the Green Chili Wontons, Louisville’s favorite guilty pleasure, Bristol Bar & Grille has been the city’s neighborhood restaurant since 1977. Original menu dishes include the classic Bristol Burger and aged, charbroiled New York Strip steak as well as favorites like Pork Dijonnaise and Theresa’s Sweet Chili Linguine. We source many of our ingredients from local farmers. An award-winning Sunday brunch buffet features made-to-order waffles, Weisenberger grits, fried chicken and a build your own Bloody Mary Bar. Bristol Bar & Grille Master Sommelier, Scott Harper, crafted an extensive wine menu to pair with each dish. Certified Bourbon Stewards are on hand to answer any questions about our native spirit. Bristol Bar & Grille downtown is located on the heart of Main Street. A member of the Urban Bourbon Trail, we are perfect for business lunches, family dinners, date night and private events.                                                               Everything was absolutely delicious as always!!!! But please, the women’s bathroom’s toilet plumbing fixtures lol like they have 10 years worth of mold. It was very disappointing to see this.

                                                              How waiter Bryson was great. Was constantly checking on us to see if we needed anything, was able to answer questions. Bryson, was laid back, was able to make nice and friendly small talk.

                                                              Bristol is always dependable at all locations. We attend events at different downtown venues and regularly head to the Market Street site. Servers are good about getting us out in time for tickets and food is what we expect. It's not a fine dining, spend the evening and drop $1000 doing it place. It's a really good restaurant with good food and attentive servers. Wish y'all were still in the Kentucky Center but at least you're filling the need and staying close!

                                                              Had a reservation before the theatre. We ordered our appetizer and meal when the server took our drink order. All was brought out at the same time. Both of our dinners were like warm. My husband had the pork chop and said the only warm in his plate were the carrots. I had the stir fry with shrimp. It was tasteless and Luke warm. My husband ordered a Manhattan up and it was served on the rocks in a rocks glass and didn’t taste like what he ordered. We didn’t send anything back since we had show tix and had limited time. Pretty disappointed in our experience.

                                                              Our table, on such a busy night, was ready upon arrival. We had an extra guest to join us, which was no problem for the staff. We keep the entrees simple, with salads and beverages. It was all good and we talked about the dining and experience for a long time. Colin did a good job.

                                                              Bristol Bar and grille is a great spot for some classic foods. The salads were headlined by the proteins which impressed. The dressings were interesting but delightful. The club was loaded and paired well with many different sides. The highlight was the wait staff. We had a large group and our server refilled drinks quick, cleared the table well. He was attentive and personable. I would reccomend Bristol Bar and Grille especially if you have a crew with allergies. They can accommodate!

                                                              A great place for a New Year's Eve dinner. We enjoyed the specials, I had the lamb chops as my entree, another guest had the steak Oscar. We shared the stuffed shishito peppers, maybe they should be included on the regular menu. The bourbon blondie was delicious. Everything was very good.
