    They removed the char crusted tuna from the menu. They also got rid of the foyot sauce. Two of the main reasons we even go there. Not happy about that, as the I’m sure most fans of the Bristol are. Terrible decision.

    We made our reservation about three or four months ago. We went to the Trans-Siberian Orchestra before and had a reservation for 6 o’clock. We checked in at about 545 and she said that they were running behind that they would get us in as soon as possible. At about 6:25 pm we were finally called to be seated. Harold was our server and he was the best server we’ve had since we’ve been to the Bristol. He was very attentive, polite, and professional. Aside from the wait time, we had a lovely evening and having Harold service us ( My husband myself and two daughters) had a lot to do with it . Last night, Harold became our favorite server. We were very impressed how he was able to juggle all the tables he had and still make us feel as if we were the only ones. We highly recommend Harold and we hope that Harold doesn’t leave the Bristol anytime soon.

    What made this experience unpleasant was we had a 6:00 reservation. Arrived at 5:50. They were overbooked and the bar was packed with diners so nowhere to sit and wait with a drink. We were seated at 6:30 and a server arrived at 6:40. After that it was an ordinary experience and the food was fine. The zeal to squeeze every possible turn out of a table and allow the entire bar to get food service is troubling to say the least.

    While the food was good and Harold was a great server, we weren't seated until 40 minutes after our reservation time. It was a busy time and we had allocated 2 hrs 15 minutes for our dinner but we barely made it to our show. We were disappointed that we didn't have time for a leisurely meal and we had no time for dessert.

    I ordered the special salmon which was to be served medium. That was an understatement. It was very underdone. Food was cold when it was brought to the table.

    Pretty poor experience. We had a reservation but still waited 25 min for a table. Our entrees were delayed, which was fine, but our steaks were quite rare instead of medium. The manager offered to fix it and proceeded to bring back my original steak even though I had cut pieces off of it. The scallops were also blah and overall food quality wasn’t great. We were here a year ago and had a fabulous dinner. Really disappointed this time around and likely won’t be back.

    Came here for the first time to celebrate my husband’s birthday (have been to original when it was on the Country Club Plaza, and the one in Leawood, previously) Wonderful dinner! The salmon was delicious and my husband had the crab cakes and said they were delicious, as well! Brooke was our server and she was excellent! We will definitely be back!
