   We love Brooklyn Tratorria. The food and service is always amazing. Celebrated my birthday and they gave us a nice booth. No birthday desert, but that's ok. Went next door to the Red Room for an after dinner drink with music. Music was nice, but they were understaffed. the bartender was acting as waitress, cashier and bartender....she truly tried to be accomodating but after 30 minutes we went home and I made myself an expresso martini

   Veal Piccata was "to die for" as were my wife's mashed potatoes. Great Bruschetta; likely best we've ever had😋! David, Owner😎, always stops by. Wine by the glass is delectable. They sprinkled rose petals on our table to surprise my wife after her Big Certification Test. 🤓

   One of the best Italian meals we have had in the Portland area. Everything was perfect. We shared a calamari sautéed dish that was truly amazing. The veal Picatta was exactly the way we like it as was the Pappardell Bolognese. We enjoyed two different glasses of Cabernet that tasted as though the bottles had just been opened (as opposed to having been open from the day before and left over). We will definitely be going back for more! Service and ambiance was perfect! Compliments to the team!

   Dave, presented a special Valentine's weekend menu. The selections were excelent. The stuffed halibut was very good. The steak and lobster comgination was very tasting. The wine recommendation was right on.

    We went on a double date for Valentines Day. Originally selected this restaurant because they were one of the few that at first glance wasn’t limiting their menu. However a couple days before I received a text message of a limited menu that we weren’t excited about. At the point it was too late to get a reservation at another restaurant. Costumer service was excellent! Beautiful ambiance! The food however was not. I didn’t eat heavy all day just so I would be able to enjoy this meal. Halibut Piccata: The Halibut was overcooked. It would have been perfect otherwise. The Caper sauce over the Mashed Potatoes was the best thing out of everything we ordered. So delicious. Asparagus couldn’t have been anymore overcooked. Absolutely hate overcooked Asparagus, ruins the vegetable. Parpadelle Bolognese: Bland! It was the first full meal I had all day so I ate it anyway but it was the equivalent of Chef Boyardee’s canned lasagna. Lovers special: Filet Migon, no flavor but nothing a little salt and pepper couldn’t help. Lobster, no complaints. Mashed potatoes, well they were mashed potatoes. The Asparagus didn’t come out at first and when we asked he said it didn’t come with it. However the menu that was on the table and sent to us said otherwise. He took the menu and brought out Overcooked Asparagus. We were so underwhelmed by the food that we passed on dessert. The drinks were great! Rosemary Mule and Hibiscus drop. All in I think the limited menu hurt them. There regular menu has some items that look amazing (Vodka pasta, steak bites, Brussel sprouts…) but I don’t know that we’d try it again.
