Restaurant owner Carlos Centurion’s newest Bulla (boo-ya) Gastrobar location in SouthPark at 4310 Sharon Rd., Suite W01. Bulla Gastrobar joins the Charlotte community with a contemporary spin on traditional Spanish tapas, an imaginative cocktail program, and an energetic atmosphere with extensive indoor and outdoor seating.

Named after the Spanish slang term for “chatter,” Bulla Gastrobar offers a menu that boasts a mix of “alta cocina” and traditional approaches to tapas, featuring innovative techniques that are applied to classic recipes to yield modern yet authentic dishes.

Dinner date with my wife, excellent food and top notch service. We really enjoyed the ambiance as well, we were able to have a nice conversation

I love always love bullas , the food it’s always good! But today the service was terrible, the waitress wasn’t happy to serve us ! We finished eating and the table was dirty for over 20 min, no water or drinks ! We had to constantly ask her to bring water and clean the table.

Our waitress, Liliana, was absolutely perfect. We took some recommendations and they were perfect. Their ceviche is the best I’ve had in a long while. The white sangria was light and refreshing. They accommodated my son’s request for French toast with everything on the side. If I had one complaint, the poached egg on the flatbread was overcooked. However, poaching eggs on that scale is very difficult so bo worries as the yolk at least wasn’t completely hard. Will be back as soon as possible!

Our waiter, Travis, was excellent! He was knowledgeable and super attentive. Food was delicious.

My wife and I both got the steak and eggs and split the ricotta and blueberry pancakes. We were very happy with everything. The only thing is this, there’s not a lot of steak for the money, but it was good. We also split the home fries and they were very good. Overall, we were very happy.

Unfortunately for the vday pre fix menu there were some substitutions or omissions that weren't discussed when ordering. Several dishes came out cold. Flank steak was cut incorrectly and difficult to eat. Halfway through service a light above the table began to go out and created a strobe effect. Understand that's not anyone's control, but it took a while to find someone to address it.
