Burntwood Tavern is a place where rustic and modern elements mend seamlessly to create a casually-stylish environment. Meeting friends for a quick bite, stepping out for a quick drink, or a place to host your next large celebration - Burntwood is your one stop destination on the Cuyahoga River in downtown Cuyahoga Falls Historic reclaimed barn wood, exposed brick, massive wooden beams complemented by hand blown glass lighting and contemporary touches.create a bright, inviting, and character-filled space for travelers, families, and traditionalist Clevelanders alike. The warm and welcoming atmosphere provides the perfect showcase for its straight forward, chef driven menu of smoked and wood grilled food including prime rib of beef, baby back ribs, faroe island salmon and fresh salads along with sandwiches served with hand cut fries. The bar serves handcrafted cocktails, constructed with fresh juices and house-infused flavored vodka and bourbon, as well as local offerings from a diverse craft beer list. Burntwood Tavern is open daily for lunch, dinner, happy hour, after work crowds, and is a great place to meet for cocktails and conversation. Brunch and a make your own Bloody Mary Bar is also offered on Saturdays and Sundays.

    The server was very friendly and attentive. She made the experience tolerable. The food was over cooked, over salted, and of average quality. I had a blackened grouper sandwich that was flavorless. I have had better here. The tavern tots are a favorite most often, but they were over cooked and super salty. Drinks were excellent. The booth we were seated at was very tight and uncomfortable. $177 meal for four was overpriced for the quality.

    Visited for my wife’s birthday. Plate sizes were extremely small. Poached eggs weren’t poached they were boiled. Omelet were so simple and definitely didn’t deserve the price. Ordered coffee and no one came to ask for refill. Extremely dissatisfied.

    Restaurant was beautiful. Food was cold when we received it. The service was a 4 out of 10.

    We had a great meal and our waiter was amazing!! Our last experience was not so great, so we decided to try it again. So much better!!

    Lobster bisque was excellent. Noisy yet to be expected on NYE. Some overall service issues with software problem.

    Food wasn’t great, drinks were meh at best, the place is too dark, and too loud. The waitress was kind, but we just felt gross after dinner. Main reason is our table wasn’t cleaned properly, and someone poured their old dirty water into the candle vase at the table. Gross. We won’t be returning.
