Cafe Farina - casual old-school vintage vibe, serving up authentic Italian-American specialties and classic cocktails shaking to the beat of Italian music streaming through the restaurant. Using only the finest and freshest ingredients, both local and imported, Chef Joseph Farina features specialty Italian sandwiches, fresh pasta dishes, imported meats and cheeses, hand-cut steaks, and fresh seafood.     My wife and I chose Cafe Farina to start a weekend long celebration of our 25th wedding anniversary. I seleted this restaurant based on other reviews I read. They did not steer me wrong!! I hope my review will help others finalize their choice to try Cafe Farina. Now to the experience itself. In my 53 years of life, I've eaten my fair share of Italian food. I truly can say this was by far the best Italian I've ever eaten. The atmosphere was extremely warm and welcoming. We felt like we were at Grandma's house for a family celebration! The staff was extremely friendly and warm to us we felt like family!! Cafe Farina has now been placed on our must do list when we get to Michigan City! All I truly can say to anyone on the fence about trying this restaurant is just do it!! You truly will not regret it. I love this place!!

    We had a fabulous experience at Cafe Farina's on Christmas eve. The fouod was excellent, service was good ,given they were slammed, and the vibe was festive and fun. Great time.
