   It was good- not great- but good! Wedge salad was bland and steak was way way under cooked! Seafood platter was good! Stuffed mushrooms were good and brussel sprouts were excellent! Frozen lemon drops were great!! Our server was nice and attentive!

   The food is always excellent! Check the board at the hostess’s desk; great off menu options. If you are a steak fan, the ribeye cap is incredibly good. Not cheap, but well worth the spend.

   Love this place but last night they had an off night for us. Service was a little slow and inattentive. Ordered the grilled seafood platter but it arrived fried. Person that delivered the food didn’t seem much interested in redoing the order. I couldn’t redo it anyway as we did not have the time to wait. It wasn’t terrible, just not the same experience as my previous visits to the restaurant.

   They have the best steaks in Acadiana. If you are a steak lover you have to try this restaurant. Get the ribeye cap.

   The Sea Bass was absolutely delicious! It’s my go to on every visit. My husband had the ribeye cap. It was beyond incredible!

   We had an amazing dinner at Cafe Josephine. We started with the crawfish nachos and they were delicious. For the main course we had the prime filet andno-filler crab cakes. Both were very delicious. Staff were very friendly and our drinks were never half empty. We will definitely be going back to try other dishes.

    I checked good for all but overall as I had no choice but to select something but didn't want to choose poor and affect the restaurant's rating too badly. My wife and I made reservations through OpenTable for 8:15. Arrived at 8:15. It was very busy and was told it would be 15-20 minutes. It was 45 minutes before we were seated. Our waiter brought us waters per our request and I asked for a couple of minutes to decide on a meal. More than 10 minutes passed and we never saw our waiter again, that is until we started walking out. We have had good experiences in the past but Cafe Josephine really let us down.
