Lovely dining experience. We were seated promptly and served water immediately. Our server was pleasant and knowledgeable, and her recommendation of the Pinot Grigio was spot-on (less sweet and more minerally than a typical PG). The complimentary bruschetta was tasty. My wife ordered the cioppino. The seafood was exquisitely prepared with a marinara that had a softness and butteriness to it. I enjoyed a cheese ravioli (all pasta made in house and it tasted like it) with sage and butter sauce. The coconut/pineapple sorbet was really delicious. The restaurant itself is not exactly cozy - it has an old-school openness, and a sort of cool modernity - but the food, and service, were excellent. Highly recommended.

It was an amazing experience until I ordered dessert to go. It was put in a to go bag for me. Once I arrived home and looked in the bag it was a 2in x 3in piece of cake that I was charged $11 dollars for. This is absolutely ridiculous. My wife and I experience was great until this. Maybe I should have just said no when I was told it was the last piece.

We chose this restaurant based upon a lunch experience we had. We ere celebrating our 53 anniversary. We asked the waiter if there were any specials and were told no. Yjere was no firs special and when I asked if they could make a luncheon menu item for dinner and was told no. We both ordered Boulibaise. I ordered mine with a side of pasta. Bread was delivered and nothing special. The broth was delicious but at $38. I would expect sea scallops and not bay scallops. I asked for graded cheese and received. When I received the bill, $11. was added for pasta and $3. for cheese. This made my entre Over $50. We will not be returning.

Mezzanotte is always an enjoyable experience. Everything is fresh made by the chef/owner Sergio. I visit frequently and have never had an unpleasant experience. Can't go wrong here.

Meal was delicious. Server very accommodating of some special dietary needs. Not crowded for a Friday night so noise level was great for conversation.

We dined on a weeknight near Christmas and there was a loud private Christmas party in the bar area. Dining room was nearly empty and generally sterile and unattractive. Our server was efficient but not particularly friendly. Our food was above average overall except for the calamari appetizer. In a better setting with some ambience this would have been a nice experience.

We’re from out of town and found Cafe M through OpenTable. Our waiter was courteous and provided good service. My husband enjoyed his dish of clams, shrimp & fish. It had a marinara-like sauce. Unfortunately my strip steak was flavorless.
