   We had the chicken wings, corn bread and veggie Jamaican patty - my girlfriend had the brussel and the curry shrimp. Chicken wings very flavorful lots of sauce; veggie patty had flavor reminded me of a pot pie; curry shrimp awesome, flavorful and the brussels sprouts were tasty. It had dried cherries, cauliflower and of course the brussel sprouts. She enjoyed. I would have enjoyed a little butter on the corn bread but the side of jam was tasty on it. The chef was the host, waiter and cook. His personality was very inviting and kind but I think he could have used a little help. with waiting the table. We had to request our to go boxes and our check. But we will be back. The food was delicious. I will definitely try something else on the menu.

   Come for the oxtail, enjoy the jerk chicken, stay for the cherry pie and Oakland lemon drop. We enjoyed every bite of our meal. Large portion sizes, scrumptious rice and peas, savory sweet plantains that you have to force yourself to stop eating. The only thing better than the food was the customer service. It was a little quiet for dinner time, but get in and get a bite before this place goes viral!

   We arrived at 6 pm on a Saturday night. By 6:30 there was a line at the door, energetic music playing and 3 waitstaff trying to cover the whole room. The food was exceptional, spicy that special Caribbean vibe. Though only two wines were available, they were great. We are looking forward to returning for the jerk chicken and curry goat.

   It was really busy during valentine’s day. Definitely not the usual experience we’d get regularly. Appetizers and dishes were really good though!
