   We have had great meals at Canoe over the years since it opened. Sunday it was good and not so good. My wife and I had the trout special it was great, hot and tasty, but the pastas under the trout were ice cold. Our guest's cod was 1/3 raw. We all wanted the soup appetizer, it was cool, not hot as I had requested. All 3 were sent back, but returned only a little warmer, but not hot. The dessert was terrific, 2 mouse tarts and the wine was great as well. Our waiter was officious, but, I felt, did not take full responsibility for our meal. The main dinging room was 1/4 full, so noise was not a problem, but for the money we spent, the best part was enjoying our friend, not sharing a good meal as well. We will give it another try. Let's hope this was an aberration.

   Absolutely fantastic. From start to finish everyone was great. Service outstanding and our seating had a perfect view of the river. My grandsons 4 and soon to be 6 were excited to be in an elegant restaurant and even used their cloth napkins. I believe her name is Julie who was professional, kind helpful and awesome with our grandsons. And to us 4 adults she seemed to know exactly what we needed. It’s everything a beautiful restaurant can be. By the way the food was delicious!!!!!!! Thank you Canoe!

   I had the salad with salmon on top and it was underwhelming. I asked for medium rare. It came out rare. The other three meals were fine and everyone else was happy and I didn’t wanna cause a ruckus.

    Wonderful brunch experience! Loved the beautiful location on the river. Staff was super attentive and friendly. I loved the Georgia pecan sticky buns and sweet and savory scones to start the meal.
