Capers on Main serves contemporary American fare with a Southern influence in an open kitchen restaurant. Start the meal off with a serving of hickory-smoked salmon in a dill mayo sauce, Southern style green tomatoes, or the best calamari in the city. Capers offers a diverse menu including mouth watering pastas, Hawaiian ribeye, apricot glazed New Zealand lamb, Mississippi catfish, Herb crusted grouper, Georgia mountain trout, and daily specials.
The bar has a full service plush lounge with comfortable couches where you can enjoy our hand crafted cocktails and live music by Grammy award winning artist Paul Joseph.

Servers are very friendly and accommodating. Everyone were nice. The food was very good and they big portion. We enjoyed out lunch at Capers and will sure be back.

Always love Capers even since they were in their old location in downtown Kennesaw. Food is consistently good and restaurant is attractive. Only complaint is they were unable to sell alcohol for some reason this past Sunday so no Bloody Mary’s with brunch. The service could have been a bit better as well-which usually is not the case

The food is always amazing and ambience is cozy enough for intimate parties. Would be sweeter if they offered a complimentary birthday dessert!

We have dined there many, many times. New Years Eve was not a good experience. Appetizer was grouper fingers which was normally excellent - Now Very small and more breading than grouper on a bed of wilted ugly big pieces of lettuce. NOT GOOD! Grouper dish was dry and not much flavor, salmon dish was same, dry and no flavor We always order Lemon drop martinis - they were served with the shaker along with the martini glass full so you could refresh your glass with the ice they made the drink with......they stopped doing that - that was what we loved about going to the bar there! We all live close by and would go there often.....sadly we will be going other places, the prices are too much there for the sub-par food now being served. The waiter Chris was very polite and a good waiter, none of this was his vault.

We were a party of 3 seniors and we were seated next to a party of 12 adults with their children at a table beside us. They were very happy and vocal (not obnoxious just vocal) and it made my party unable to converse without almost yelling. What was curious was that the other side of the restaurant was quiet and uncrowned. I would have asked to be moved but our poor waiter was having to help us and also the large party resulting in our order getting mixed up. Anyway this was not my best Capers experience. I don’t live in the Atlanta area anymore so this won’t affect my future patronage but I will say this visit doesn’t reflect my past visits.

We went to Capers for my mom’s birthday dinner. All of the food was amazing! We ordered the following appetizers: salmon fingers, spinach dip, bruschetta, and the crab fingers. I personally tried them all except the crab fingers. They were all delicious, with the bruschetta being my favorite! I’ve never had bruschetta the way that Capers prepares it. It was so good I ordered a second one 🥰 The entrees: spinach artichoke rolls w/salmon-delicious, crusted grouper-amazing (I will order this on my next visit ), ribeye was tasty- sauce is very good it could have used more salt and pepper imo, lamb chops-I didn’t try them this time but I’ve had them in the past and they were good. The sauce on the lamb chops is really good. My nephew had the burger and fries and he enjoyed it. I like their fries- I believe they are fresh cut fries. Mom had the pound cake for dessert. She loved it! Overall, the experience was amazing! Portions were large and our server was very nice and the drinks were good. Our waitress suggested some mock tails those that didn’t drink alcohol.

Capers is one of my favorite restaurants. The food is always delicious and perfectly cooked. The service was excellent. I actually took a friend there for her birthday. This was her first time at Capers. She could not stop talking about how wonderful everything was.

They have a decent selection of dinner options. The servers have always been pleasant. Food portions are good. They have a piano player on Friday and Saturday, which we like. We dine there about once a month.
