Captain Jack's Waterfront Grill is on the Anclote River across from Tarpon Springs' famous Sponge Docks. We are a casual restaurant serving to-die-for fish and chips, tacos, and Grouper Sandwich. The Captain's Platter includes flounder, peel-and-eat shrimp, scallops, crab cake, rice, and veggies, which pairs well with one of your many margaritas. Please come and join us for lunch or dinner. We offer incredible sunsets and live music every night. We can handle most large parties in your second-floor dining room. We offer a full bar to meet all your needs.

Food was good but overpriced. Drinks were ok but mistakenly served an IPA when Modelo draft was ordered.

Atmosphere was nice with a good view but food was marginal and overpriced. I can’t really recommend as there are much better restaurants in the area.

Our waiter Jake was awesome and a hteay waiter! Food was good but a bit expensive. Great place to meet friends!

We ordered an appetizer and two entrees, and an add on to one of the entrees. Our entrees came out and we never did get our shrimp appetizer or the fried shrimp that we added on to one entree. The food that we did get was fine. But since we only received half of what we ordered, I can’t give a high star review. We would try again because all places can have an off night, but it wasn’t a great first visit.

The food was delicious and the ambience set the stage for a great meal. Our server was attentive, with our orders coming up quickly. Highly recommended!

We have passed this restaurant many times & always wanted to try it. Tonight, we did. We were seated outside on the ground floor. But I smelled cigarette smoke and mentioned that we wanted no smoking. So the host took us upstairs, and offered us a table outside. But since there was a possibility of a smoker in the area, we asked again for non smoking. He took us into the upstairs dining area. We were the only ones there and wondered about the service. But the service was excellent. Our waitress was knowledgeable about the food. We did not want frozen fish, and the grouper was frozen as was the fish and chips. Husband got the fried shrimp, & Friend got the crab cake dinner. I got the tropical salad without protein. While we ordered, two ladies came in to sit at a table near us. Our meals were delivered shortly after. We did enjoy what we ordered, but none of the meals was exceptional or memorable. However, the service was both. The ladies left before we paid our bill. So we enjoyed having the dining area to ourselves after eating, and talked for another 30 minutes. We walked downstairs, by the solo singer playing guitar, and out to our car. Singer was pretty good. We’re not sure if we’ll be back. There are so many restaurants in this area, and being just okay is not a good reason to return.

Love the vibe, live music & water views. The food & drinks were great. Had a very sweet server named Zaria.1st time there & we will be back.
