Food was good. Place is cute but the wait time needs some help. I made a reservation for 12:45 wasn’t seated until 1:25. Overall besides that I really enjoyed myself and the food was good and the drinks were very good! I would go back!

I love that a diner-type place opened up in Vienna, and we'd been following its construction for quite a while. And while it originally opened up as the very cool-looking Yellow Diner, it quickly switched over to Carnegie, with New York vibes and the promise of great diner food.
We'd heard that a lot of friends visited, and the resounding vertict was decent food but way overpriced for what you get. Figuring I would try it out, I brought my mother there for a lunch.
Unfortunately what we'd heard was absolutely true. Despite decent service and a nice interior design (that was cluttered up with fake flowers and cheap holiday decor), the food was definitely disappointing and quite expensive for what we got.
The Farmer's Bleu salad sounded excellent, but it was a rather small, flat bowl of half-heartedly thrown-together ingredients that I'd expect from an understaffed Panera. My mother's salad looked the same: a lovely sounding menu description and a skimpy, disappointing plate delivered to us.
Perhaps they're better (a and provide better value) for more traditional menu items like breakfast, but I can easily think of better places for a lunch.
