Caruso’s is a rebirth of a restaurant that was created by Rakan Shteiwi in the 1979. Many of the original Spinning Fork recipes came from the original Caruso’s which was located in downtown Cincinnati. We look to merge classic and modern flavors inspired by traditional Italian and American Italian cuisines.

We had a wonderful dinner with young adult grandchildren. They are pasta lovers so this was a real treat. Service was excellent. We always start with the Arancini and the fantastic bread The fettuccine Alfredo with blackened chicken was delicious - 2 ordered it. Linguine Scampi with peas and mushrooms was my choice. And Caccio E Pepe was the other entree which got a rave review. Portions were plentiful. In all it was a home run! We keep telling friends how good it is.

I specifically asked to be seated in the warmest part of the restaurant, but my request was ignored and we were seated at the table closest to the front door which caused me to freeze the entire dinner. The food and service however were great, i only wish the hostess would have read my request.

Always a great meal. Good wine selection. Staff is friendly and attentive. Tonight was spaghetti and meatballs and the salmon with a spaghetti squash side. Really big portions and very tasty. Salads are large and the house dressing is really good. Anthony was terrific.
